Here is a theory that I came with 8 years ago, that connects the two shows together. Sometime after the end of Season 1, Gidget went on a school field trip to New York for a couple of days. She got into some serious trouble and was accused of shoplifting from an expensive clothing store. Gidget called her father, telling him that wasn't coming home and agreed to do three years community service. Gidget felt too ashamed to return to California, and called to say goodbye to Larue, Anne and John. Gidget then decides to join a church to learn from her mistakes and make the world a better place. Two months after becoming a nun and changing her name to Sister Bertrille, she was assigned to a three-year mission in San Juan, Puerto Rico and that is where the first episode of The Flying Nun begins.

So he goes through the trouble of killing a guy to further his undercover operation, then after snorting some heroin he gets so affected by Hill’s little speech that he nearly beats him to death and then immediately confesses to the murder?

Mobay is an underrated character. Starts out good then being around all these bad dudes it gets to him n he becomes a bad man then he reforms himself when he realizes he's become what he despises. Great arc

I love this film. The acting is good. The scenes are suspenseful. The Boston setting is used perfectly. The music is great. I don't compare it to Speed at all, very different movies.

This movie was overlooked by CinemaSins. I hope they cover it one day, but I'd take sins off for Tommy Lee Jones' hammy villain performance, the scene in the house, and Alan Silvestri's music; his scores can make a bad movie seem good.

The announcer for this version of sign-off was WVEC master control Operator John Finlayson. He started in radio before he entered television. I know this because I too was a master control Operator at WVEC from 1974 to 1985 until I left for KHOU in Houston.
