awesome video, very well explained. thank you for uploading it!
Thank you friend!🙂
Annoying vocal burn!!!!
Im building a vertical lathe i have my z,x and c axis(spindle all working perfectly) but the turrett wont show up in setup machine model i have it added in kinematics with it all defined to start in my kinematics i have static with all of my base selected then z i have all of my z axis and then my x axis under z and then the turrett cuz its mounted on the x but rides up and down with the Z axis then i have a rotary axis (C) and main spindle under that. Ive made sure i didnt have the turrett accidentally selected in anything else in setup machine model ive restarted fusion idk why the turrett isnt in my setup machine model? Example in my kinematics: Static Z X Turret C Main spindle
Glad to see more videos finally sharing this! 😀
Buggiest software I've ever used. Been using CAD/CAM for 15 years. 3DS Max, Revit, Solidworks you name it. Fusion's buggier than wine programs ran on a hackintosh without the correct plist files.
This was so much easier in Eagle.
If my sketch is fully defined it won't let me move it after it has been pasted into a new drawing!
Well done video!
we want to copy and paste it in to new drawing..... wtf is this..
Thanks for the tips!
Type S then type extrude then click the command…. Or just hit E.
Day 178 of asking for proper Dark Mode in Fusion
😂
jeez bore off... 💤
@@pplpilot I'm sorry 😔
Как будто бы темный режим не так нужен для Fusion 360
Really great presentation.
Awesome! I am totally fine with buying cloud credits to spend on this awesome product. However, Having to buy them in bulk is not ok.
Fusion 360 for linux when?
This is the good function
A video on how to add joints early on would be great

Whiniest 'itch on KZread. Get a new hobby or a life or go use Freecad!
I love fusion 360 but them bugs be driving me crazy😅
The real question is, how do we get access to this smoker model.
As always Autodesk is full of $hit and brain death...
Okay wait a minute!!! Why is my fusion 360 not responding when I try it? I’ve purchased a PC because I did’t want these kind a problem but it always happens to me!! I got the highest core i7 processor with 2 32GB Ram DDR5 and a RTX 4060!!! What can I do to fix it?
u should had used lowest core i7 instead of highest.
I challenge you to do another one of these videos, using a LAPTOP. This is a trick question. FUSION DOES NOT WORK ON LAPTOP TRACKPADS. You need to spend a few hours fixing your Navigation bugs, before you publish videos on Navigation!
Oh my Sweet Jesus!!!! Thanks a lot!!!
Please add shortcut for top vew, front view and side view.. Thank you
Gracias, Arigati, Thank You
How do I restore archived files. Don't see any options when I sign-in. Student licence
Thanks for this one... I have changed my thinking! 😜 I tended to want my sketches to show all the features and dimensions, so this does require a shift at a fundamental level. It means less sketching time, and less cluttered sketches. That it also makes more efficient use of computing resources would not be apparent to an end user, but now I know, that's another plus. Keep 'em coming. 👍
A keyboard shortcut for zoom window would be nice. Also, you didn't mention that a double mouse click on your center mouse button will "zoom extents". I use this constantly. I've been requesting that this behavior function the same way in the drawings environment for years now. That would be a great quality of life improvement there.
Lol or not

And here you are YET AGAIN doing all the whining. Grow up jnr and help them by being specific and sending or posting them somewhere that matters. Otherwise YOU are part of the problem and will NEVER be part of a solution for your unspecified problems.

@@Te4mUp The only LOL here is you, as you claim all these bugs and don't have any apparent will to list or help them be identified. Time you grew up.
@@seabreezecoffeeroasters7994 Didn’t you go radio silent the last time I listed a bunch of bugs? Is a hidden button that doesn’t do anything a bug? You don’t work at Autodesk why do I need to give you a bug report?
When Dark Mode?
add in doesn't work
Fusion's buggier than wine programs ran on a Hackintosh with an AMD GPU and incorrect plist files....
I downloaded a puller tool from Makerworls but once printed the male thread would not screw into the female thread, I noticed there were no starts on the threads, can you make threaded starts in Fusion?
Alternative title: How to _not_ break your design using Derive. What's the purpose of having these other options if they only serve to give you grief? At least, this is _my_ takeaway from this vid.
How messy is using configurations with manufacturing, specifically machining, in mind?
Derive seems powerful, but I'm just more cofused watching this than when I started. because of the sheer amount of things to keep in mind. Fusion is almost too freeform about how users grab and move around data and link files, and doesn't even attempt to guide users towards some kind of data discipline. I would say usually more options is better but sometimes it's too many options when they all appear to do the same thing but the nuances are small but significant and not things that can be easily corrected after the fact. You gotta know exactly how to go about things before starting instead of figuring it out as you go. And for software targeted ostensibly towards the new and less experienced users, it seems the be counter to that objective. The more I learn about Fusion, the more I'm spending way too much time managing data organization and trying to read the tea leaves to understand whether I'm in the 'correct' state to do a specific task, and not enough on just making models. At least back with Inventor it was either a part, or an assembly, and it was pretty clear which was which and which rules applied.
Great video and timing. I have been struggling with that last week. This will save me a lot of time in the coming week ;-)

Thank you! You just saved my project
Benefits of going base model over the other free option?
Well that went completely too fast and without explanation 😂
Complete useless tutorial
Does anyone actually use the built in slicer? Is it even any good?
Prismatic solid option hardly ever works. Useless
The terrible faceted option is free and the useful prismatic option is behind a paywall. Yay!
Yeah and the prismatic solid hardly ever works. Always get error messages
u can get access for free, just make a start-up, or register to college. And stop beaching for not giving u everything for free on a gold plate. FYI prismatic dont work like a miracle tools, a lot of times u need to correct some geometry. Best way is to use mesh as a reference and remake whole model from sketch planes. This is most accurate and most "pro" aproach to the task, and u can do it in all versions.
@@_xano I am paying for my license, but the prism version is still rubbish. Can't polish a turd
@@emanggitulah4319 I was refering to the og post. But triangulated geometry is a mess, and always will be. As u can't have vectors back from once rastered images, u can't have perfect parametric model from stl/3mf. All circles / arcs / splines etc will always have wrong dimensions. Want perfect model? remake it from scratch, there is no other way.
