    "Padded sheets or leaflets" refers to a stack of individual sheets (leaflets) that have been held in a clamp or vice and glued together at the top to make a pad where someone can tear one off to take with them. Just like a pad of paper (think 'legal pad' where you tear off sheets from the top vs. a spiral bound pad where the sheets are held together with a spiral wire.) This is what you learn from working in a print shop for 11 years lol. Still trying to figure out all these labeling requirements though! Now I know I need a pad instead of just listing them. Thanks!

    Thank you!! Loved the video. You saved me so much time by doing the making and testing of these powders. Ill def be using SLSa and goats milk powder in my bombs. I really enjoyed the Monty Python references. Now I'm off to go watch the Monty Python and make some bath bombs😊 definitely earned a new subscriber and a new patreon.

    Why do a video if you don't give the recipe and it's going soo fast it's pointless

    Totally understandable concerns! Our business is focused on selling formulations that have been thoroughly tested, so that’s how we make our money… however, we also host a free support group on Facebook with hundreds of hours of video content showing how to use this product at a much slower pace! We are also happy to help *anyone* with their handmade cosmetics, regardless of whether or not they have bought our recipes, so I definitely encourage you to come check us out. We also have tons of other free content on our website and, unlike other content creators who often use ads on their website, or affiliate marketing to create income, we keep our site free from ad-trackers and have zero revenue from affiliates-which means that we are able to give honest feedback and save our supporters the frustration of fishing for reputable suppliers. Pair that up with a throughly vetted recipe and TONS of support (seriously I lose sleep if someone reports having a problem with our recipes!), and I think the value is there. But if you don’t, that’s also fine 😊

    I also have a question for you Robyn - how does LUSH get away with not labelling their bath bombs? They are not even wrapped - they are just sitting there getting dusty and have no warnings no ingredients, nada. So how are they able to do this when the FDA clearly states all these rules? Thanks!!!

    LOLLLLLLL ----- so sorry Robyn. I wrote that question as you were talking because I was like ''WTF ?!?!?! How does LUSH do it???'' Hahahahahahahaha

    Hi 👋 I just found your channel. I think you’re in my area, Houston. Do you have issues with steamers drying out in this humidity??? I haven’t even tried bath bombs yet

    That’s a 3D Printed bath bomb mold 😊 Cada Molds, Chunkadust, Soapfistication, and Inedible Soaps are my favorite makers of these types of molds!

    Also, corn syrup solids will serve the purpose of poly 80 and are sweet and edible so there’s that

    How about doing a show using alternatives to Polysorbate 80??? Like shea butter, castor oil, etc

  • @BathFizzFoam
    @BathFizzFoam2 ай бұрын

    There is only 1 true alternative that I know of (poly sugamulse) but I only found it after my video on Poly 80. During my poly 80 video I tested lecithin, red turkey castor, and something else I can’t remember off the top of my head. None of them were adequate substitutes. Shea butter also would not be an appropriate substitute since it is an oil and has no ability to emulsify. But the poly sugamulse is a follow up video I’ve been wanting to do for awhile!

    I went to lush and bought a bath bomb for the first time last week, to see what all the fuss is about - I was surprised to find that the ingredients are JUNK, but I plan to cut it in half and inspect it! So glad I bought your low humidity BB recipe, felt fantastic on the skin, so much better than this total rip-off! <3

    Well, unholy hell! Thank you for this video. I’m glad I watched it before making bath bombs. I never heard of Lakes before so good to know but now I know why some lady sold all her bath bomb making gadgets to my boss. What a pain in the rear. 😞

    Thank you so much for making this video, because I have a math learning disability and I have been trying to find a very clear explanation of approximately how much I need to color a bath for so long. I have been making my own bath bombs and bath truffles for a long time but have been too afraid to venture into the actually-coloring-the-bathwater side. This is very clear.
