Kool-Aid Bath Bombs? WTF! Making Edible Bath Bombs is a terrible idea, but I still did it 🤦🏻♀️
EDIBLE BATH BOMS ARE A TERRIBLE IDEA... I really don't suggest making them! Especially with Kool-Aid which makes them geared towards kids... However, if you're a consenting adult and are interested in making these, here's the recipe I finally landed at (but seriously, just go drink a Fanta!)
150 grams Baking Soda
100 grams Citric Acid
100 grams granulated sugar
65 grams powdered sugar
1 package Kool-Aid

Hahah! No worries!
Also, corn syrup solids will serve the purpose of poly 80 and are sweet and edible so there’s that
This was a crazy one to watch on Patreon!

Haha yeah but my wtf rules are if they don’t say it, I don’t do it 😂… but I don’t think it would taste good no matter what (the original one at least!… the how to drink one might be ok!)
Is it a cocktail bomb?

Ugh. I guess. I don’t drink so I don’t know if this is a trend or what. The OG one tasted like an Emergen-C (or an airborne… or an alka seltzer 😅)… the final one would be ok with a bunch of alcohol I guess. The problem is, how much is too much? If you’re drunk are you going to stop when you feel dehydrated? If you’re a kid and it tastes like sugar and is colorful are you going to stop? It just seems like an overall bad idea.
Hahahah. They are boozy bombs!! The Kool aid ones would be for a kid though not for an adult drink. There is a better/REAL recipe. My daughter owns a business for these 🤣 what a fun video though!!!

You look too young to remember Fizzies, though I've read they were again marketed recently. Not big enough to be used as bath fizzies unless you used a ton per tub, but they were tablets based on this principle that made their own carbonated drinks. Sugarless, though, because sugar would've bulked them out too much to be able to fizz effectively. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fizzies Also, parents are always complaining about their young children drinking their own bath water, don't think they'd want to encourage it. Also also, Annie Lawson in a promotional comic strip for Lush, referred to their bombs as "giant Alka Seltzer".

Yes! Mo actually wanted to formulate them to imitate Alka seltzer and originally called thing something similar before reverting to the term bath Bomb!

@@BathFizzFoam To my knowledge they weren't the first to make a bath fizzie as a tablet or bolus instead of grains. There was a widely advertised oblong one called Actibath at the time. Not as fancy, though. Fizzy bath grains go back about a century -- like Bromo Seltzer instead of Alka Seltzer.
