Thank you ToolRoom for making possible to learn from bests
Isnt your sub going to clash with your kick’s sub with kickstart at just 55% wet on the bassline?
The full course is a must watch. Myself and a couple mates have watched it 10 times 😂 like a favorite movie. It’s one of the best full track from scratch videos we’ve ever seen and some of the techniques have become staples in our releases 🧮🤙🏽😎🖤🕺
Did D. Ramirez stop using Logic ?
that was wikkid. loved the way you dug more vocals from the main verse. *noted*
I love these interviews. So much insight from people in the industry. I just started a new channel and instagram with zero followers. Working on building out content, writing ideas for them and seeing results once posted. All while trying to produce/get gigs. Hard work but it’s fun! Cheers Toolroom
It takes some balls to call it a bassline.
Nice
Really like this artist. The way he used piano chords in his tracks with tech/"trancy" basslines. Very happy to see he shares his work and hope you'll share others videos from him. Cheers
Glad you enjoyed!
Agreed this producer is fire! Great video
I this a sample or a synth? If a synth, what synth?
TLDR?
Terrible mixing
Thks teacher
Mr D Ramirez one of few GOATS. Another heavy hitter, super fresh, just one thing please please please can you share your Ableton Template 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽👌🏽💯❤️
🔥🔥🔥🔥
Amazing I never knew Clips could be used like this
awesome video, guy seriously knows his stuff
He sure does! 🧠
Sounds wicked and cool to see it’s your master that got released too
I spy a CTZ chain 😜
Whats a CTZ chain ?
@DJTwenty2020 clip to zero. Some producers use it to clip spikey transients where needed, allowing the master limiter to do less work and achieve louder mixes.
Loved this mate, always enjoy track breakdowns and learning different ways of doing stuff, banger too!!! great work!!
Enjoying your melodies course thanks D
excellent stuff - thanks for sharing
Thank you Mr D. Show us your method of taking kicks out of tracks. Thanks.
The more l listen to him the more l appreciate him top all round geeza ❤ T
True school
It’s true
F…k the algorithm
Very Interesting for me to listen to the banger TRX222 'Karma' after this video successively. Couldn't be better 🎧 :)
U can rename that segment, “Danny Howard : take care of your mind and body or you won’t make it” love the chats…keep it poppin 🤙🏽🖤🕺
Ohh🧐♪Happy to see this Classy Crusy is here Academy. Gracious *'.+🪘🥁+°.*
Crossfader talk about your podcast and this is so usefull 🙏
YES! Been hoping for a tutorial or session with Crusy for a while. His basses and grooves are some of the sauciest in the game
Awesome! For the low end in Latin House, do you recommend a tom instead of Serum for example? Would you combine both?
Tom, Serum, or combine both, they all have their own use, so whatever works best for your track! During Crusy's on-demand course, you can see the extended version of this video that covers basslines with Serum, as well as Toms 🙌
What does he mean by reverse engineer some of these sounds if they are already in the serum pack?
This was inspiring. Thanks for uploading. I saw Crusy perform and met him last year. Really nice guy and def has a strong future - great signing for Toolroom.
Yeah 100% agree, you have to look after yourself and keep learning from production to every other part of being an artist.
A lot of Gems here 😊
Toolroom is a very respected label for house and tech house, tribal house, Latin house, minimal house and similar house derivatives. It also includes great artists, but I think it is not right for an artist who produces original things to be a signed artist in Toolroom. Because toolroom releases and supports home genre songs consisting of sound packages sold through splice, this kills creativity. I am reviewing the 2019 toolroom catalog and it was great between 2019 and 2022, like the champions league, now I can't see a truly original recording, the artist pool does not excite me as much as it used to, it doesn't excite me as much as it used to. There are a lot of problems. I can say that they are really outdated when it comes to houses. Now the world and music are changing. I can't tolerate house music below 130 bpm. I think they should release house records and be a little more underground.
Could you explain the difference between Toolroom Academy & FaderPro. Thanks.
Toolroom Academy have full courses on their own platform. They also have programmes of 3 months on specific topics with live classes. Fader Pro on the other hand is a platform with all sorts of courses related to electronic music from many companies, being Toolroom Academy one of them
Everybody should play some 30 person gigs now and then, helps you remember your roots and reminds you that those big established parties are likely the reason 1,000's of heads turn up, not your name ;)
When D. Ramirez drops…well anything. Stop and pay attention. 🤙🏽😎🖤🕺🪩
