If my organisation selling outdated stuff in inapropriate channel with inapropriate tactics (this happens TOO often) when yes - i will blame my organisation. But 99% of sellers cant articulate what is wrong because they dont have qualification to do so. Yes - 80% of times seller fails it is organisation fault. This is why 80% of companies cant hit their sales plan target. Because management sucks both in strategy and execution. I am not telling about product and marketing here. Because this is TOO complicated for managent heads. Organisation IS EXTERNAL FACTOR to my perfomance - WAKE UP DUDE

Great presentation. Unfortunately, it was disappointing for me to find out that Napoleon Hill actually never met Andrew Carnegie and was never commissioned by him to do anything. So we have no idea whether anything in his book is valid or true.

Off to a bad start referring to Think and grow Rich. The fact Napoleon Hill was a fraud is pretty well known at this point but unfortunately most self help spaces still site it as being a genius piece of work. Some of it is ok but also pretty obvious. Be positve, think big, provide value yadda yadda. It has plenty of vague ideas but no practical advice with nuance. "Think" and grow rich. It implies that's all it takes and it's no wonder why so many influencers have the "fake it till you make it" ideology. "Fake it till you make it" was exactly Napolian Hill's philosophy for life but when a culture is shaped by a fraud it will inevitably create more of the same. If everyone is faking it because they were told to do so by a fraud, no wonder the internet is full of so many fake gurus. Who's actually mastered their craft? Harder to spot in the online space today.

Notes: What seperates great sales people 1)Definiteness of PURPOSE. 2) Burning DESIRE TO MAKE TO HAPPEN. 3) SELF MANAGEMENT 4) Sales is driven by 3 things: Job skills Sales skills Personal Skills 5) Rate your skills *Personal skills are the multiplier. Work hard on YOURSELF. People who go with a sales plan make 93% vs 42% of those who wing it. 6) SHUT UP ( talk less) it’s the process, it’s the system. 7) Product knowledge is actually how you present the product so they can access it.Not knowing too much about your product. A confused buyer buys nothing. Only bring what is of value to the communication. Keep it SIMPLE. Sales is all about positioning. You must be first in your customers mind. Cold calling is stupid; 1) Must have a need for your product and need it 2) Authority & ability to pay 3) sense of urgency ( buyers market). 4)Certain amount of trust 5) People are more willing to buy when it’s ‘their’ idea & they are doing most of the talking. 6)Ability to make people take action - when they are hestitant. 7) Never begin selling, telling or demonstrating until they verbalise what they want to Perceive gain or achieve with that product. 8) Never quote price to an unsold buyer. 9)Premature price question; know how to handle it - either you’re quick or dead.
