  Is foley art and sound design the same thing? because I know foley art is when you take everyday items to create realistic sounds for a character or the environment in the scene, and sound design is all done my computers. correct me if I'm wrong

  Pete Docter right there is the guy who’s nearly entirely responsible for people thinking of Pixar as a “tearjerker movie” studio. Recently he made Inside out 2 and is the CCO of the company. He always finds a way to use colors and animation in a meaningful way, and I think that’s very special. He’s one of the few people I consider an actual genius, along with Andrew Stanton also from Pixar. I think Pixar is what it is thanks to them.

  I’m glad Billy Crystal rejected this. Tim Allen as the voice of Buzz is perfect. And Billy Crystal (later realizing his error) was great in Monsters Inc.

  That's really interesting, because you get to observe how rain effects are made in 3D movies like Toy Story which are made by Disney and Pixar.

  The name Buzz Lightyear as seen in the drawings that the late Bud Luckey and Bob Pauley made came about in reality from Buzz Aldrin who’s the second man on the moon. In the testing process of character creation, the filmmakers started with the name Lunar Larry. They also tried out Tempus from Morph. A few years later, Buzz Lightyear was born.

  Things we know about this test animation: First, it's likely that this scene is an inspiration for the scene where Woody tries to push Buzz under the table with RC, Woody, as many people may know, was originally going to be the villain of the film, looking more of a ventriloquist doll, i don't know if he would have the pull string that he has in the final film, apparently not (update: watching the "Don't eat the car" test animation, he really didn't had the pull string initially), Buzz appears to have the same head as the final Buzz but slightly paler, as well as different colors and being much smaller compared to Woody, plus Molly would be older and share a bunk bed with Andy or Andy would originally have a twin sibling instead of a baby sister, besides the Andy's bedroom wallpaper appears to be of planes instead of clouds, Andy apparently has not had any name changes, Woody sounds a bit like Tom Hanks, but Buzz sounds neither like Tim Allen nor like Billy Crystal who was casted as Buzz (or Lunar Larry and Tempus from Morph as he was initially called). The only question I have is: What is "Hi Tech Toons"?
