How long will the image stay on the glass? Is it permanent or temporary?
@@jimmiedenise6444 thanks for your question. This stays on permanent. The only way it comes off is if you reactivate the polygloss or sand it off
Can you put this on a metal saw blade and sublimate on the blade?
@@tammieford4975 yes of course you can. If you do please send me a picture so I can see the finished product.
Tqsm good video, I have one question tho. Like in india an alternate product is available, which comes with catalyst as well as reducer. I didnt see you using this reducer. Can i just skip it?
@@shivkr205 hi, in this case the Polygloss came with the catalyst. No reduced is needed.
How to do for Eva foam?
@@manimarwaha23 hi, can you clarify your question please.
Great video. What shirts are best that don't shrink or fade
Thanks for your question. I believe it depends. There are so many different brands so I am not 100% sure.
In your opinion, is heat press a lucrative business choice?
@@thenaillady1991 thanks for your question. Yes it is. Especially if you are into tshirt sublimation printing. They are so many advantages.
Finally a video that shows exactly how do this! THANK YOU!
You're welcome! Thanks for your support.

Great Video, Easy to watch and learn
Thanks very much for your support.
YES I LEARN SOMETHING TODAY
Awesome. I am happy you got value from the video.
Hey Allan love your dedication. Saw a 3 years old video of u just now, and taught that is a dead channel but seeing this video posted recently just cool job man. I have a question tho. What do you think about sublimation floor tiles, i would love to just buy some white ceramic tiles, and printe on them for my house. but i dont know if the print would stick or fade away in years because of washing them. sory eng is not my first language.
Thanks very much for tuning into the channel and thanks for all of your support. I think printing on floor tiles is awesome. I have two videos that can help and I would encourage you to watch them and get a greater understanding. In the first video, I coated the tile with polygloss only - kzread.info/dash/bejne/d66bu5iOhcvRgps.htmlsi=D5a0E9ecma1xO0wa and the second video was a comparison between a sublimation tile vs a regular floor tile coated with polygloss - kzread.info/dash/bejne/gKeIrZeQh7O9esY.htmlsi=9AvJCErR3qge9oSl. If you use the Polygloss method and the tiles are exposed to consistent sunlight they will fade after a time. However, if they are indoors I believe there shouldn't be a problem. I am not 100% sure if water is thrown on them daily they would fade. I believe it shouldn't but I am not 100% sure. I hope these two videos help and give you a greater understanding.
@@atprints Thanks a loot i will check them right now. God bless you :)
Hi. Can you do sublimation printing on this visor?
Thanks for your question. Yes you can. You would have to use a light color sun visor.
Thanks. Any recommendations for time and temperature!?
You can use 385F for 60 seconds
Great. Thanks. Will try it!
Thank for your prompt reply what vinyl paper should i use again thanks i really like your video will recommend your channel to my family and friends many blessings
You are most welcome. You can use this paper, it works great for me 👉 amzn.to/3GedNyK
great job can you do this with simulation ink?
Thanks for your question. Yes you can use the sublimation process once the color of the umbrella is white or a very light color.
What have i done wrong Mynpicture looks faded
Thanks for your question. If your picture is faded it could be the lack of pressure or lack of time. So make sure you have a medium pressure and the correct time frame.
❤❤❤
Thanks for your support.
What about sublimating on to rock slate that’s dark blue
Sublimating on dark colors will be very difficult. If you surface is white you can change the color or your design to dark blue etc.
Thanks, are the finishes food safe.
Yes the polygloss is good safe but not dishwasher safe.
Ps or add something to you polygloss coating
Can you clarify this message please?
Hi I want to sublimate onto rock slate which is dark grey/ blue. What can I use that is white to cover & aid sublimation.
The only thing I can suggest is to paint it white, then use the polygloss solution to coat it and then sublimate onto it.
What are those two solutions called and where can they be bought? Thank you!
Thanks for your question. The name of the solutions are Polygloss and Catalyst. The link is also in the description of the video. You can purchase it here bit.ly/3CYZqu1.
Thank you for this video I have a epson ET-2803 ecotank printer can i use this printer to do vinyl sticker I am new with making sticker never done one i am doing resin can i use the sticker in my resin? hope to hear from you soon i just subscribe to you channel have a great and bless day
Thanks for your question and support to the channel. Yes, your printer can work to print stickers. Once you purchase the sticker paper you can print on it, cut out your stickers and then place them on the resin if you want to make resin stickers. Hope this helps.
Hi I have been getting some bad subslates off of Amazon, I wanted to know if I can go over them and recoat them with this just to make sure they are fully coated and the ink will take on it.
Thanks for your question and I am sorry to hear you got bad products. I would recommend getting the substrates from other suppliers. I should have some other links in my description or let me know and I can send you some links to my suppliers. For the rock slate you will surely have to sand off of all the old sublimation ink and then paint and recoat with the polygloss.
@@atprints I ended up sending them back for a refund, but I m saying like once I purchase them before putting the ink on them can I recoat them just to make sure they are properly coated before trying to sublimate on them
Did you ever got registration fail while trying to cut ?
Praise the LORD, this is exactly what I was looking for. Thanks Allan, your channel is really a blessing. I've watched a lot of your videos.
Hey, thanks very much for your continuous support to this channel. Your words inspire and motivate to keep pushing with them. Thanks again.
@@atprints You are welcome ☺️
Can you spray it on?
Yes, there are steps for spraying it on but most persons will not have a air compressor or paint gun so I am in the process of using another spray method and then I will release the video once everything works. Spraying can also cause bubbles so you have to be very careful.
Can you tell No we’re not if the shirts and design still good after first wash? thanks!
Thanks for your question. With the Dri-fit shirts when you sublimate the image onto the shirt the image stays on forever and the quality stays the same. Of course after constant wearing of the shirt, the shirt itself will start to wear and tear.
Bro are you bajan ?
Yes I am
What program did you use in your program to begin with please
I used the Epson software from Epson. You can go on there website and get any software for the specific printer you have.
Thank youuuu so much!!! You have no idea how long I’ve been struggling with this
You are most welcome. I am going to be doing an update video in the future as things do change and the years move along. Happy that the video helped you.
Really enjoy your video as you explain it all in depth! Thank you so much for sharing it was awesome! Liz 😊
You are most welcome. I enjoy going in depth to give viewers a great understanding and to possibly answer all questions before they are asked. Happy this video helped you.
Thanks so much, great video; thanks for step by step details. Question: I'm getting some haze on my finished product (using the polygloss) after heat pressing on 400f for 600 secsonds. Can you give me some advise please. TY!
Thanks for your question and sorry for the late respond. You can try reducing the temperature to 385F. Make sure that you tape down your design onto the tile so it wouldn’t move when you are pressing it and when it’s finish. You can send me a picture of it on my instagram or Facebook so I can see and I would be glad to assist more.
@@atprints Thanks so mjuch, I will try! I am using ceramic tiles.
Thank you so much for doing this demonstration, have you or do you know if the tile will fade if left in outside in summer weather temperatures?
Thanks for your question. With the polygloss tile I would recommend keeping it out of the sun. I do believe after a long time of exposure sun it will fade. As you would know the sun is even hotter now than before. In terms of the original sublimation tile I am not 100% sure.
Can we eat on the plate?
Yes you can l, however, I normally say use it as an ornament.
I'm from Cameroon
Nice to meet you and thanks for tuning into the channel.
I want all theses machines, how can i have it please?
You can check the links in my description or you can send me a message on instagram @allan21thompson and I will forward you links etc.
Use a sponge or sprayer for a smoother finish
The umbrella doesn't burn? What setting do you use?
Thanks for your question. I used 320F for 15 - 20 seconds with a medium pressure. No it didn’t and wouldn’t burn.
Great job!
Thanks very much for your support.
What tempature and how long do you press the vinyl for?
Thanks for your question. The temperature which can be used is 320F for 15-20 seconds with a medium pressure.
May i ask, does all glass dinnerware works?
You can use glass dinnerware however, it may be best to use oracal 651 vinyl or follow these videos where you can use polygloss kzread.info/dash/bejne/X2x_lbKcYri9pZs.htmlsi=TBnkaVgSO2vDvDOt or this video kzread.info/dash/bejne/lqKZvMelkpbbmps.htmlsi=e99JYdv-aDSzCPRl
Thankyou very much.
So bottom line just throw the mistakes away and start with new? Seems like it costs more time and money than it is worth.
Would a foam brush help remove the brush marks seen in your camera close-ups? Also, what do you use for brush clean-up or do you dispose after one use?
Thanks for your questions. If you are referring to the white lines after the image was pressed, this is actually because the wood isn’t fully flat so because of this when it was finished sublimated it produced those white lines. However, with the clear coating that would clean it up. To clean up your brush you can use water as it was mostly a water base paint or thinners. I hope this helps.
Hi, thank you very much for this wonderful video. Please can this be done on an MDF wood? If yes, how do you dry it because I am not sure about putting it in the oven for 20 mins like you did for the mug . Thank you
Thanks for your support and questions and I am so sorry for the late response. You don’t have to put the wood in an oven. Normally for wood you would need to use a heat press or allow it to dry on its own. Please take a look at this video where I used polygloss to sublimate on the wood. These steps can work kzread.info/dash/bejne/iYBo0LaafLTPoNo.htmlsi=GZz8wcUshIjC-Z2U
Great video! Thanks for making it! Have you tried testing this in the dishwasher? How long does it last? Thank you again for showing us this technique.
Thanks for your question and I do apologize for the late response. So in this case these wouldn’t be dishwasher safe. I would recommend washing by hand. The reason why these wouldn’t be dishwasher safe is when to much heat from the dishwasher starts to apply on the jars it could reactivate the polygloss. So the safest way is to wash by hand. It will last very long. I have other polygloss projects I did over 4 years and they are still good up until today as I am sending this message. I hope this answer helps you.
Awesome video, very easy to follow.❤
Thanks very much for your comment and support.
Is it possible to adjust the size of registration marks?
Thanks for your question, I don't believe you can. However, the app was recently updated so this feature maybe active. I will have to check and follow up.
What company did you buy your cameo 4 pro? And what other equipment will I need to make this happen. I am using a chrome book.
Thanks for your question. I purchased my Cameo 4 Pro here 👉 shrsl.com/2upkf. However, in this video, I used my Cameo 4. You will also need a heat press and heat transfer vinyl.
