Think of this little experiment as my swing progression(evolution) featuring the swing of Mr. Lee Buck Trevino....The man who in my opinion hasnt gotten enough credit for his swing theories. His swing changed my game...This page is a thank you note to Mr. Trevino.

Great job! This is the best way to relive a past event. Please do more like this!
Looks like he paid a price for his success
Legend
In these contemporary times what 'Ol Man Golf' needs are more Lee Trevino's.😕🤗🙏😇 God Bless you Lee. Thanks for the memories.👑👍
Augusta Golf Course represents everything ugly about golf. Formerly, all Caddies were black and they admitted their first black member in 1990. Today, in 2021, they have 9 black members. In 2012 they allowed women to be members and have 7 and still refuse to host a LPGA tournament.
Seve has a wonderful story too.... Very similar to Lee, but from Spain... a very poor kid, a child caddy, started with 1 club as a tip, and played a guy for his 1 club and then had 2 clubs... no stopping him from there. Lee & Seve were and are 'Poster Boys' for all poor kids that are not 'Country Club' boys....!!
Nicklas & Trevino were a perfect Match,,,, They had perfectly mismatched personalities and equal skills; one white, the other dark, one rich the other poor, one quiet the other loud, one tall the other short..... Perfect Rivals... Never will be anything like them again... They changed the 'Golf-World'..!!
A truly magnificent story about a great golfer & man. Thank you.
The long game brought me here
Thank You for this Documentary!!!
loved the Doc Thanks
A great golfer no doubt. A great American that served our great country. For the first time ( Dummy Me )I notice that he is a great teacher and maybe it was his greatest gift.
Never played golf and didn't realise it was such a class-based thing.
Excellent, thanks for posting this!
Super win by Lee. Jack always gracious, even in losing.
I had the pleasure of playing golf with Trevino at The Greenbiar 5 years ago. I asked him about Augusta. He was very open with me about all aspects of his life (surprisingly). I will vouch for all the good things said about him. He was very to the point about Augusta. Said the controversies were overblown. Said plenty of the classic old clubs that hosted tournaments were snooty, not just Augusta. He told me Augusta didn’t suit him because there was no rough. Zero rough until they went to so called “Tiger proofing it”. Said he did so well in US Opens because he was the only one always in the fairway. Augusta- everything was the fairway. No bad lies, no penalty. Said Jack overpowered the course fearlessly because no penalty for slightly errant drives. Same for Palmer. IMHO- upon reflection, I buy that. From his lips.
Thanks for sharing that! Cheers Amigo!
This is why i loved watching the likes of Trevino then Woosnam compared to the likes of Nicklaus then Faldo, they just got on with the game and hit the ball whereas the latter two were like watching paint dry. Trevino could do stuff that other golfers would never try bar the great Ballesteros, two magicians on a golf course. Cheers.
nailed it ... Lee is My Guy === unbridled brilliance !!!
the audience looks like they are on death's door
Gotta love the merry mex , great golfer, great competitor
Prime Lee would smoke these skinny pants posers we have today.
Even if he (the Lord) doesn't remember it, we will Lee! Forever in our hearts...
Trevino in the skins match Lee hit a hole in one and his caddie said great putt lee

I don’t think it is ALL in the hands, but a lot of it is in the hands.
Incredibly interesting,,,,
Always liked Lee Trevino , he was my favorite golfer when I was a kid
Damned by the anti-honesties
I love Merion and I don’t even know her last name. 😂

5:31 Oh and i dont like that Floyd bloke. Never have. Something about his manner with the galleries at Augusta.......waving his hand at them lime they were a bunch of low life dogs....snapping at them..."get back...get back"
In case of lightning, because not even God can hit a one iron.
I’ve never heard that expression
Freddy takes so many practice swings because he’s a rhythm player and he’s got to maintain the feel whereas Trevino has such a stable club face through the ball he doesnt have to take near the time or practice swings. He can just get up there and rip it. Trevino calls Freddy Cupcake 😂. Lee is the best!
LOL....he is totally right about the slow play...it's even worse now at times...the caddies are like the boss out there .
This is great! Thanks for posting I really enjoy watching.
Thanks for watching
Thanks so much for another classic Lee video. They’re priceless! I’m obsessed with imitating his swing. Watch your channel just about every day so this is a real treat
Glad you enjoyed it
He was and is my idol...he's inspired me since age 10. Without question the greatest striker of the golf ball ever on this earth. I have played with an open stance and consistent fade for 50 years....I enjoy it now as much as ever even though my distance is much less "Last year I could hear it land...this year I can read the name on the ball" classic Lee
Top Flite era. 1:49 Jack making fun of Lee's 1-iron. Palmer remark 5iron to 1iron setup...lol
That was a hell of a round from Lee! Geeze his shot making combined with a hot putter isn’t fair to the other guys. “I aim left, swing right, and walk straight.” My favorite Lee ism.
Start watching Lee and you are hooked. Legend of the people.,

Lee.thanks for being you. I am 74 and when was in my twenties i was a fan like my dad. We all loved the Golden bear, Jacklin, Gary and you. I miss those days. I was there when Jacklin won his Bristish Open. I remember too that week when i was sitting in the stands at the Postage Stamp...par 3. Max Failkner was there with ghggggghhh when he got a hole in one. Never forget. Wonderful days. But i will always remember you chipping. I think if i had been on yhe receiving end i yhink i would have walked off the course...dumping my clubs in the trash skip.......and taken up marbles. Thankd for the memories Lee. 😅😅😅😅😅😅
Lee did play at the Masters on a few occasons. And he played well. If i remember he had a 4 undrr par finish and a 5 undsr par finish. He played good.😅😅😅
This had a strange ASMR quality to it. Very enjoyable. Lee is who I imitate. Who is the narrator?
Bruce Koch: He wasn't the "gentleman" Yancey etal were on tour. Really?? He was a complete gentleman, what you mean is he wasn't WHITE
Melnyk thought hed "go away" lol. Melnyk went away actually
wow didn't know much of Melnyk other than his commentary.
This is golf gold.
No one on tour swings easy
He loved the golf course, he hated Clifford Roberts bigoted ass.
Jack plays SLOOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW
He's golfing with James Bond 007
" The lord gave me a talent and I didn't want to let him down." Trevino is an absolute American icon !!!
Good stuff man. Thanks.
