I had the privilege to know Andrew in the late 70s and early 80s when he was an insurance broker and client of mine. From memory he was MD of Kinloch's before he was 30. I met Kim at their home once and Andrew was always the gentleman and would book me into the Atheneum or somewhere similarly prestigious. With the advent of the internet many years later I was very pleased to see how he had journeyed over the years and was very saddened to learn today of his parting a couple of monhs ago. My profound codolences to Kim and his children. Rest in peace Andrew.

@@Unpluggered oh oh, as a Padres fan, I was not happy when Philadelphia defeated San Diego in the NLCS in 2022 (yes, and I went and saw two of the games here in town, both Padres losses, nearly as deflating as St. Kilda’s EF loss to Geelong in 1991 at VFL Park, the last match I saw the Saints play before I moved to California). Lucky all you blokes barrack for St. Kilda. It makes the Philly support acceptable. Sensational interview with Dupa, btw. Along with Barks and Dunne, he was one of my first favorite Saints when I first started really barracking for the Saints in 1977. Thank you, gentlemen.

You guys are doing a great job with the podcast, but I really think you should be filming these previews ONCE the teams get announced haha. Some of the talking points and speculations on the ins and outs are kinda useless when you don't actually know what the team running out on the weekend will be

i know i commented on this before but i just had a memory. I'm clearly older than you blokes so i remember the drop kick and learning the stab pass . the reason that came back to me was seeing Barry Cable who must have been in his late 50's early 60's kicking a stab pass to former AFL player and media personality Adrian Barich who was about 20 metres away and nearly dropping him such was the power of the kick. what they call a worm burner. those skills are gone and i wish they would comeback

Definitely agree we should have beated Dons. Definitely agree injuries and suspensions have killed us esp given how close all but one game has been. Luck WILL improve with better players coming back. We are still 3 A grade mids short and 1 tall defender. Hopefully Dow and Schoenmaker solves two of those issues. So the REAL question is where do we get the mids from????

Had the pleasure of working with Steve for a short period just after he was delisted. Absolute cracking young man at that stage. Always spoke very highly of his time at the Saints. I think he really enjoyed his time there.
