Bless your spirit for this. It makes me proud to be an ndn these days. I studied martial arts for the last 30 ish years. Apache knife fighting was too brutal, I'm Oglala Lakota, Saponi and part Scandinavian Viking so I totally look like a white guy. In Kong Su Do, we did some of these exercises as well as with Bushido and Hapkido. I love that you melded our dances with yoga. It should help with blood circulation. I forgot how it is spelled in Eastern language, but she quan was decent. Unfortunately, I haven't been to a powwow in over a decade and I must. My relatives, SkyEagles RedClouds and KillsPlentys keep bugging me about it. Last one was for Kickapoo Nation in 2012 before grad school. I bumped into an elder and she dropped her chili cheese dog so I gave her $40 and cowered in a corner. I earned 3 feathers in my life but that was so embarrassing. Anyhow, thank you so much for being you and doing what you do. Our relatives will benefit and I will share. It's kind of cool how all our tribes work together these days. Cheyanne folks should be arguing with me but we all get along. It's nice. Anyways, thank you for everything, you beautiful spirit you.

very interesting video. It is clear that your people are developing. I came from an area where the local tribes are: Koryaks, Aleuts, Itelmens. Your culture, dance and music are very similar. Several videos about the Koryak and Itelmen tribes. kzread.info/dash/bejne/iIWHyNppZJvMf6g.html kzread.infosHzzW6hlo04 kzread.info/dash/bejne/iGatrLqYmta9frQ.html But now the problem of these tribes is: no jobs, and alcoholism. And these problems cannot be solved in any way now. Your example gives hope that the future can be better. I am now a refugee in Europe.

Beautiful! I had just watched this other completely unrelated video where a dancer performs some moves (e.g. with her legs) that look a bit like yours. Is it pure coincidence? Or was that lady doing something inspired by native dancing at some stage (whether to her or longer ago)? kzread.info/dash/bejne/Y55_s5aLk7aWcZs.html

Thank you Acosia, I haven' t move like that since before covid and first 2minutes in and my my whole self cried, each position gave a release. The space you created with tone and sound was safe and easy and flowing like the water. My body physical and my emotional body feels so much better I felt it unhinging..opening and I felt strength too..wow I will do this again.
