Join me on a journey through time as I honor my grandfather's legacy as a master craftsman and woodworker. His passion for his craft was unrivaled, and he taught me that success lies in the art of using your hands and thinking creatively.
Through this channel, I hope to capture the essence of his spirit and share it with the world. I'm excited to showcase the skills, knowledge, and patience that go into creating and restoring beautiful items.

👏
I enjoyed the non-power tools, the bench hand drill press and the crank wire brush. I would like to get those for myself, I am blind a power tools are a little dangerous for me to use. Links?

A joy to see a wonderful tool restored so well & showing that manual powered tools are still invaluable!
Great show! My grandpa came over from Norway started a dairy farm in Wisconsin. His last name was MOEN. Myself I was a carpenter. Retired now but still into woodworking doing everything the old school way hand tools, molding planes and such all so a leather worker lot of satisfaction and good therapy. Good luck on your Chanel I will be watching. Tim
Love the old fashioned way with old fashioned tools. Just a joy to watch.
Very cool, glad you did not start the clip walking through the woods.
That was so damaged and now it performs its job with ease. Its a keeper!
Someone charged you $2 for THIS?! Man, so many knives like this in here, and noone wants them. Nice restoration tho, as always. I'm a fan of your channel. 😊

L orologio a cucù 🇨🇭 degli affila rasoi
Nice…
Nice new look like the tap dancing
As a kid many years ago, I remember seeing these in our hardware store, but they were fueled by carbide chips.
A knife raised from the dead
awesome restoration and sheath
That’s exactly what I use fishing and purchased at my military exchange .
trabalho lindo!
That knife originally had a hook on top, and was sharpened on the top edge as well. I believe those knives were designed for "cutting out." The hook point for plunging into a side of leather, for freehand cutting, and the relatively straight bottom edge for tracking along a scribed line when "straightening a side" so that the plough gauge can come into use. Most Saddlers use a round knife to straighten a side, but the straightish lower edge such as on your knife is the best one to follow a straight line. The English have their "Bridle Cutter's Knife", for the same purpose, ie straightening sides, but on a much larger scale than your knife.
Good job
Love the video. Watch after my hard day work.
A stunning tool is reborn! Fabulous handle work!
Amazing craftsmanship! Fantastic video!
You made a very lovely useful knife! And please don't be self conscious of your voice..you speak fantastic, and it will become more natural to you as you go. Well done my friend!
Why won't I you stole em
Amazing job!
做的很棒。用心
Bro you do realize it’s 2024 my man??😮
Я давно ищу такую штуку. На ключи😉
i restored a folding knife made in the 1950's...gave back to guy he was like...he said it looks liker the day he stole it from the hardware store as a kid
Excellent restoration but this knife has a weakness and it's at the hilt or finger guard on the tang. The tang itself is made of weak metal and will break if pressure is placed around the guard. Better to have a full tang for this kind of knife or a thicker stronger tang.
Lo antiguo...lo mejor...hecho para durar en el tiempo, nuestros abuelos trabajaban muy prolijamente...como han cambiado los productos hoy en día,gracias por tu video, realmente es gratificante, saludos desde Chile 🇨🇱
