I posted this on a few sites yesterday. Is there an Europian Union Rivers authority? Other Countries may need to be asked to release their Danube waters systematically to reduce levels. Maybe Romania first as the Mouth of the Danube is there on the Black sea. Sebia, Hungary then Austria. Tell them the importance is their is large flood amounts upstream which will be flowing through their countries as it can not be stopped. Keep emptying till the water level returns to normal. Often rivers have weirs and installations which maintain back water at levels higher than natural. So those need to be opened. Water has to have some where to go and the water next door has to be lower for the water to flow out of the accumulated areas to flow into or else it flows on top. Flood water may be comeing if they want it or not. So they can help themselves by emptying some water out. Danube Gradient in meters. (Descending). Germany 650ms - 281ms, Austria 281ms - 137ms. Slovakia 137ms - 102ms. Hungary 102ms - 83ms. Sebia, 83ms - 33ms. Romania 33ms - 0ms. Black sea 0ms - Ocean. Alert for all contries on the Danube
