    Controversial decision ahead: I switched from xt2 to xt30 ii due to a few reason's. Few words of context here: im a pro portrait, street and fine art photographer. My main bull for work is xh2. Yet i needed a camera for casual shooting, the one that is somehow small and not intimidating. I like to portrait people's emotion and the feel more relaxed when looking at big guy with small camera. I know the rule that customer expects big gun for the price he pays. Thats when the xh2 go to work. But xt2 doesn't had what i needed. Better movie and built-in options and BSI CMOS sensor. Lack of dual slots ? Fully agree its no suitable for long sessions of shooting like wedding. Yet you can carry other SD cars with yourself. Heat managment ? Correct, it's for short film shooting, not long interviews. The quality of build. Well xt-xx series are not always perfect i must agree. Yet it can be used for pro work. Depends on your style, workflow and needs. ❤

    I don't find your decision controversial as you have xh2 for more demanding tasks, so it aligns with my thought not having xt30II as solo camera for pro work. As a second compact camera this little fuji is great. Thanks for sharing this!

    Hey! I have this camera for 2 months, and I've learned a lot from you. I have a question about auto options, and maybe you will help me with the answer. I take photos in aperture priority and when I set "auto 1" to 3200 ISO and 200 shutter speed, camera takes photos at 30 SS anyway. I noticed that it depends on light. If there is a lot of light, the shutter speed stays at 200. However, I don't want to go down to 30 when I set the minimum to 200. Can I do something about it? Thanks! 🙌

  • @ShotsByJev
    @ShotsByJev9 күн бұрын

    Well, the only thing I can say is that I dont like fuji's light metering system. For example it always cranks up ISO for me even though it could keep it lower therefore minimise the noise in the image. In your case it might be that the camera doesn't see the option to keep shutter fast depending on your aperture, maybe you close your aperture too much, because I cant imagine the camera would want to shoot shutter 30 while the ISO is 3200 and wide aperture

    I agree it's a little pricey but a new model with upgraded features. As a long-time wildlife and sports Fuji shooter, I wanted a small walk-around camera with an interchangeable lens. I currently shoot with the H2s. I had the 100 series but I found it was limiting and I couldn't set this camera up for my style of shooting. When the X-T50 was announced, it drew my attention and I purchased the camera. I really like the camera with the new 16-50 lens. It's very sharp even with the 40-meg sensor. I can also program the front and rear dials exactly the way I have my H2s set up. The front dial is ISO, and the rear dial is exposure comp. I've also programmed some buttons. One for eye detection and one for bird detection. IS works well. The film dial is okay; it was just an easy way to create different looks. I'm also finding it in good light; just switching to the full auto switch has worked well. Time well tell, but I'm happy with my purchase.

    I also got the TTArtisan 27 and really enjoy it. And I was also able to do the same comparison with my friends Fuji 27 Mk1, and still decided to keep the TTA. Partly because of the price (and it was literally impossible to find a Fuji 27 where I lived lol), but I also liked the performance, IQ and rendering (including the swirly bokeh). It absolutely has it's downsides like its flare, but like you said the biggest issue is definitely the vignette, but it's almost never an issue for me and I shoot raw + jpeg so can fix it if I really need to. I think the biggest design difference between the two is the Fuji 27 has an aspherical element, which definitely contributes to it's higher price and probably a more accurate colour rendering. Anyways, this was a great review and you took some awesome shots!

    Thanks for the comparison and you are the only youtuber that talk that much about the vignetting, and I agree with you, it is definitively the defining carateristic of that lense. Very good for the price but the vignetting is too overpowering at times. But I didn't regret buying it at all since it's not one of my main lenses but I can kep it easely in my bag as this is small. I think that spare use as a complementary lense (between a 23 or 18mn and a 56 for example) is on of the 2 main appeal of it, along with gluing it on a small body for everyday, not too serious photography.

    @showdaKOs17 күн бұрын

    It handles skin tones great, the color cast is negligeable really, but he is right to talk that much about the vignetting, it is almost inevitable and so strong you can't correct for it easely in post. I was aware of it before buying it but still got surprised by it.. If you can afford it, i suggest the fuji but if it's not one of your main lense and/or you want something cheap, the TTartisan IQ is more than OK (except for the vignetting).

Ur cpu is probably getting to hot so its forcing itself to run cooler by lowering its speed. Open it up and check for cat hair or something if ur comfortable doing that. Might be the codec and video format your using. Also just get something with a GPU. Gpus are literally designed for stuff like this. A cpu is going to perform worse for a task like this.

    Lol your problem is that you use apple, if you used normal tech you wouldn't have this problem and it's just funny how apple users can't figure this out, especially in 2023-2024. Future profing works, you don't need to take the very top, but something above average, something second to the very top. A good example of future proofing is the 10 series of nvidia video cards, which came out 8 years ago, this series had a 1080 video card, which was future-pfofing at the time, and wich is still usable to this day. In fact, if you don't need modern features, such as RTX, just need a some video card in medium assembly, then it's still better to buy an old 1080 than any new card. I assembled my PC with future profing in mind, I've been using it for almost 4 years now and I'll bet it will last another 5 years without problems, and some of its components will migrate to my new PC I also use a Lenovo laptop (although their laptops are shitty) which was future proofed, bought in 2011 and it was fine even in 2018, but sadly it died in 2021 of old age, if it weren't for that, I'd would be still using it for light to medium tasks and some gaming Even very end of this video is kind of funny because you basically bought a future prooft laptop, only it was future prooft in the previous generation, it's like if you bought it back then, than you wouldn't be making this video

  • @avtomat_kalashnikovea7.6mm39mm

    not every future proof is good it depends on the timing 😅 if you got the mac book pro 2016 it will last you to the m1 or even the m1 pro the m1 pro will last 4 to 6 more years from now on

  • @ShotsByJev
    @ShotsByJev21 күн бұрын

    What I meant of future proofing is to overspend and getting maxed out versions like M1 Ultra for example. M1 Pro is a regular one to do the work, thats why I bought M2 Pro when M3 line was already available as M2 Pro is capable enough and will be for few years at least.
