Thanks! So there is no camping on the A section, but there are a ton of sites below little hole. Just a matter of getting there, and if they’re open. Should be a great time.

Nice video. While small native fish are my thing, I spent a lot of years fishing for big trout. You got to fish for them where they exist and use different flies and techniques than you would to just catch fish. If you are consistently catching 10” fish your chances of a 24” are lower. Fish streamers and big nymphs in the best pools. Or fish the tailwaters with big fish. Good luck. New sub.

Nice video. I think you will be very hard pressed to catch a 24incher out of that river. 1st rule to catching big fish...you have to fish a system that holds big fish. I know of such a place and I will bet that is where you catch your 24 incher (if in Utah). That said, I have caught countless 22's ten or so that have been a little over 23" but only one that just made 24". So, even in a system that holds big fish, it is still a difficult thing to do. Looking forward to your quest it's a formidable one. (New subscriber)

Bounce rig is awesome wading, but really shines from a drift boat and especially on the Green when CFS is 1800+. Doable at lower CFS but a royal PITA because you have to adjust suspension depths constantly.

Headin' up tomorrow!🤙😎 I agree...the Green is top notch world class. It's amazing that as dry as Utah is, 2nd driest in the United States, we still have the absolute GEM of the fly fishing world! The Green, Beaverhead, Big Hole, Madison & Snake are my top 5. Need to branch out to newer water to see how much that list changes. It's tough to want to change things up when you only have a little time to head out on multiple day fishing trips. I need to make it a point to try a new river a year...2 would be even better! Great vid!
