My name is Dustin and this is College Football Lifer, where I try to talk about the past, present, and future of college football. I want to talk about the history of this sport, the traditions, the rivalries, and the games, players, and coaches that have defined the history of the sport. Let me know what kind of videos you would like to see!

Concerning the scheduling of the Clemson South Carolina game, I think the acc asked Clemson's opinion because they legitimately do value the opinions of their members. Georgia Tech Georgia took the offer so it wasn't a showstopper for Tech op
I have never liked noon games when Florida is playing. UF usually comes out as flat as a pancake and plays like crap and often times loses. And this is going back 30 years. Back in the day it was Jefferson Pilot then Raycom who would do the SEC noon game and inevitably Dave Neal would be on the call. He comes across as a pure Gator hater (he went to Florida State) which would make it even worse watching the game. Noon games should be for G-5 conferences only. 🤣
Jefferson pilot and Raycom... Blast from the past right there
Will be using this for EA CFB25
Thanks for all the news!
I believe Gordon is underage, 0.0% BAC is the limit. Not a good look.
The TRUE B1G will stomp a mudhole in those West Coast wannabes and walk it dry! One of those teams is getting EIGHTY dropped on them by Ohio State!
What do you think about any of these stories?
Texas should do well in the SEC and Oklahoma much to the dismay of haters and butt hurt Big12 bigots and hypocrites. Utah and Arizona will have some success to lots of success. Army will be decent but will not have success as Navy had in past years and Air Force in the weak Mountain West as almost guaranteed to have 6 conference wins every year, so Air Force should have good results and why MWC is not best G5 but either now SBC overtakes AAC or AAC regains their status as best G5. Cal will be the best or do the best out of the three adds to the ACC. SMU will be okay but not anywhere close to what some goofballs are saying and predicting as far as success and high expectations goes. Oregon and USC and Washington will make a bowl. Oregon probably makes the playoffs and may be champs in the BiG10. UCLA will struggle mightily with the first two to three years but eventually figure it out. USC will challenge for a playoff spot in year two or three but not this year. UMASS second go around in the MAC next year will be better than last time around in the league. The first time they were in the MAC UMASS was not as fully committed to being successful and competitive in football, but this time next year they will be. Kennesaw State this year and Delaware and Missouri State next year will be fine in CUSA and will have some success in the early stages before getting a good foundation settled. I also see two other FCS teams/schools moving to CUSA to get them back to 14 football teams; and MAC adding one more team from FCS to make 14 football teams in that conference.
Who are you most excited for their new home in 2024?
Big 12.
You should do a video about new Rivalry games or Rivalry trophy games with conference realignment this would also include schools joining new leagues in 2025 FBS/ FCS levels for example Missouri State 🐻 and Delaware joining C-USA in 2025 etc
New Rivalry games at FBS level C-USA Jax State 🐔vs Kennesaw State 🦉 "The Battle at the boarder" The trophy would consist of the states of Alabama and Georgia replica together similar to the LSU 🐯- Arkansas boot trophy Jax State - Middle Tenn ' The brawl down South " UTEP vs Sam Houston State 😺 " The oil rig trophy Liberty - Delaware. ???
If the ASun 🏈 conference can add a couple more schools from D2 West Florida and Valdosta State etc along with getting Stetson scholarships 🏈 they might not have to have the merger with Wac anymore i think at least 8 🏈 playing schools
If Valdosta State goes to the ASun the Peach Bowl would be back. I’d be so happy
Yeah I hope the conference merger stuff stops soon
@@bradyveal2366 yeah that's the whole point I think 🤔 you could have an 8 team ASun 🏈 conference with round robin scheduling . North Alabama 🦁 Austin peay UT Martin Tennessee Tech West Florida Stetson West Georgia Valdosta State . I didn't say EKU and Central Arkansas 🐻 because I think 🤔 they should be called up to FBS level
ASun conference Natural Rivalries North Alabama 🦁/ Tenn Tech Austin peay/ UT Martin. West Florida/ Stetson West Georgia/ Valdosta State
I'm rooting for Kennesaw State, Army, and SMU
Kennesaw State 🦉 in C-USA is a good move it gets C-USA in Atlanta and they have a boarder Rivalry with Jacksonville State 🐔
Love the videos bro bro
Thanks man!
@cfblifer no problem, but keep it up & you'll eventually get the support you deserve
I wholeheartedly AGREE with you!! I stopped watching the NFL yrs ago and now it looks like college football has been compromised as well, huh? I love God, Sweet Tea, and the SEC 🙌🏼🙏🏼🧋♥️🏈🖤
What if we just let schools determine what conference they wish to compete in?
11:19 to 11:49. Preach on, brother! And it isn't just about Ohio State. Once the Buckeyes do it, other teams will follow suit. I went to a few Gators games in 2022 when I was back in Florida. Hadn't been since 2013 and the in-stadium experience (I hate that term) was not for me. It was more like an NFL atmosphere with everything seemingly sponsored and homogenized. Like you said, it's a way to create new revenue streams. But no revenue will stream from my wallet! With UF, every time you turn around the school is asking for more money. Whether it is for athletics, the failed "Gator Collective", or academics they never have enough. I live in Maine now and will just watch college games on TV. It's better from the standpoint of seeing the game anyway.
Corporate naming of college stadiums (stadia?) is not new. Kentucky renovated its football stadium and it's now Kroger Field. My alma mater, the Univ. of Florida remodeled the basketball/gymnastics/swimming and diving/indoor track and it went from being called the O'Connell Center to Exactech Arena. There are lots more examples. As far as placing ads on the field, Texas Tech's football stadium, "Jones AT&T Stadium" had sponsorship logos on the field. They may have been superimposed for TV broadcasts only. however. All that said, I am against ads on the field at the college level but times have changed and once they start, they're not going away.
Cincinnati made the 4 team CFP, and they're now in the Big 12.
I think 🤔 the Armed Forces Bowl and the Military Bowl should be played the same day as Army vs Navy rivalry on December 14 I more in the boat of Army - Navy playing on a stand alone weekend the Celebration Bowl should actually be played at the end of bowl season closer to FCS and National title game
I glad that NCAA 🏈 is back and in future I hope they include the FCS schools to make it more realistic South Dakota State 🐇@ Iowa EWU @ Washington UT Chattanooga @ Alabama etc and also I hope we get NCAA basketball 🏀 back as well
Legally? You mean illegally.
What made you decide to go to Alabama instead of Clemson
Soon, colleges will have teams as a business. No students playing, all paid athletes. There will be an extra home game for every team 90,000 x $70 plus concessions are $8 mil + the impact on the local economy.
I dont think corporate logos would be too much it a bad thing. Especially since schools like Ohio State & UCF already had sponsor logos on their stadium field with Satellite & FBC Mortgage logos respectively. And a lot of teams have corporate logos on the walls. Certainly better than putting the logos in the jerseys.
Duke and Wake Forest are private, so the state government can't force them to play anybody.
Ah great point!
They can’t force public schools to do it either
the smaller logos don't sound terrible but on the 50 in place of the team logo is just terrible. Imagine Penn State does that, just no
National Championship Game should be on Saturday night IMO
Not when you have NFL Playoffs running concurrently.
Yes and it should also be on what we used to call, a "broadcast network."
What are your thoughts on any of these new items?
Rip Sean 21 HTTRedskins
Teo was robbed of the Heisman but that’s unusual for ND players since the last one awarded to an ND player.
Shame Players like Stetson Bennett won’t be eligible and coaches like Erk Russell are ineligible
You relegated Cincinnati and Rutgers, but not Vandy and Houston?
2007 wvu vs pitt man I wish we could just forget that one
How could you keep Cincinnati out yet move UCF to TWO conferences!?
Hopefully the gameplay isn’t like madden
It almost looks too good to me. Like uncanny valley almost.
It’s gonna be mini madden and suck. I’m probably gonna buy it and a ps5 and be sad lol
Why do people keep talking bout the ps6 like it’s announced to come out ANYTIME soon bruh we have like 4 more years to go💀💀
I'm so excited for College Football 25.
I wonder if EA has a way to collect data on how people choose to customize their conferences. It would be VERY interesting to see real data of what the people REALLY want… not just what the B1G & SEC say “everybody” wants. I don’t play video games, but this release has me totally intrigued. If I did, I would be creating my version of the 80 team realignment that has been recently floated. Loved seeing Syracuse in the trailer. 🧡🍊
first off Go Birds! i also did get deluxe to play early. on ps5 it says July 15th
I wish the Nebraska Colorado game wasn’t so stinking expensive I doubt it will be as good as what it is hyped up for
i already preordered the deluxe edition!!! over a decade of waiting and i couldn’t be more excited
also very excited for the gaming channel
I pre ordered the deluxe edition
5/18/24 Update: IT'S COMING BACK! kzread.info/dash/bejne/pIekzMdslqrAg5s.html
In the new SUNBELT, I would swap Memphis and Middle Tennessee to the North and Georgia Southern and Georgia State to the South.
I would replace Eastern Washington and Idaho with Montana and Montana State.
There were only 3 seasons where he didn't win a National title, conference title, or NY6 game...2007, 2010, and 2019. Incredible. GOAT.
Not bad
Indiana v Clemson or Indiana v Bama
I’ve seen the kick six over 100 times since 2013 wow what a moment in college football history
1. Georgia vs Alabama 2012 Sec championship 2. Georgia vs Alabama 2018 national championship. 3. Georgia vs auburn 2013
