I get the feeling that she could just as easily be at home in a conversation about history, science, philosophy, politics, the arts, down to the most mundane boring everyday stuff.

It's disappointing that she could only mock the people she worked with in modelling, a career that opened up all kinds of opportunities for her and welcomed her back when her acting prospects faded. She lacked grace back then and came off as having a bit of a superiority complex.

I will say; these ladies have an advantage of perfect skin and features to begin with. The second woman however looks to have messy eyeshadow makeup here. 🤷🏻♀️ This really is a simple tutorial. I would say minimalist beginner style. You can tell it's from the early 90s.

About t.v ads being rubbish these days... I have a theory about the reason for this. And it is THIS... All the "bright young things" who work in advertising now, from trendy converted warehouses, in places like Hoxton, have ALL invariably been through the "Media and Advertising" uni degree mill, and have all come out with their 2.2 degrees, wanting to show the world (or...Hollywood film producers...) that they are the next...Ridley Scott. He started out in t.v advertising, and in fact, made that very famous British Airways ad from the 80's...where a load of people walk around in the desert...to eventually form an "eye". You know the one. After that, he of course went on to make... Blade Runner, Alien, Gladiator, and a string of other huge blockbuster films. So...the "template"...is there. Hence...we are getting these ludicrous "mini-movie" t.v ads now, that seem to bear virtually NO relation to the thing they are trying to sell us, but serve more as a vehicle for the "bright young things" future ambitions in Tinsel Town. That's my "twopennorth" anyway 🤔
