Paulina was know as the face of the 80s with her face plastered on hundreds of major magazines around the world. At her height she won the coveted the six million dollar contract to be the exclusive model for Estee Lauder. Here is a video of her made when she was only 18 and the top model of Paris. She truly has an ethereal and timeless beauty that comes once in a generation.
The music is by the Cocteau Twins. "Lorelei" is from their Treasure album. "Cico Buff"? and "Carolyn's Fingers" are from Blue Bell Knoll. All three tracks are also included on their compilation album Stars and Topsoil.

Paulina was an exceptional natural beauty, right now there's no top models that can compared wit her natural beauty, I miss the 80's
Even though she is still beautiful now , I can only imagine the pain/loss that an aging model goes through. How fleeting is beauty and how superficial our society is .

Yes, but have to say most animals are much more beautiful: just look at birds, an exceptional horse, a beautiful cat, a dolphin, a tropical fish (humans cannot begin to compete with that type of beauty)

Lasse 1964 actually she started modeling in 1980, at 15 years old. She was seventeen when this was filmed.
I love Paulina and The Cocteau Twins are my favorite band!
Paulina was my idol throughout college. Then in 2015 she and Rick were right next to me in St Jean beach. She is even more breathtakingly beautiful in person! People say I look so much like her. Best compliment I could hope for!

Another great thing about this video is that at about 7 minutes in, we get to see very rare footage of the long-deceased Way Bandy - the greatest makeup artist ever. Way Bandy is the makeup artist at that point and the shaggy haired hair stylist (also deceased) was the legendary John Sahag. What a team, what a model! Oh, the 80s!

I saw her one time in a magazine in West Germany in '82. She was dressed in a fish-net, see-through top--she was 15 the caption said. I never forgot her timeless beauty and two years later, when she came to the U.S. mainstream, I recognized her immediately. What stunning beauty to this day. I always imagined her voice would be the most perfect female-toned voice to match...oh well, can't have everything!

Or the old , 80's sexism of women jumping down the front of men's pants, thinking out from behind their zipper for them, then screaming, "sexist pig! Pervert!" All the while ignoring the number of her own sexual desires. There are many things far worse than the German culture's lack of American Puritan disgust of nudity.
