i got a 2004 ktm450sx last year and tore it completely down and did a top to bottom rebuild, not a restoration. I love the early 2000s look of those bikes & just threw new parts on it. is by far my favorite bike in the garage. And also the oldest. But also the most used😂Love them orange bikes

I think you should change the title to. How to align your dirt bike fork so it is easier to search for.

His set up is way more planted than yours. Think rebound has a lot to do with it but there is also a compliance aspect of it too. Almost seems like your packing into mid speed then getting a jump in resistance which is intensified by the fast rebound. But what do I know lol. Hate the YZ intake noise!

Remember key of being fast is consistency, knowing what parts of the track to push. Always looking for you on the leaderboard bro. Enjoy it, let it rip!

in addition to ur suspension probably being to stiff and unpredictable, it sounds like u need to ride a higher gear to get the suspension to settle even better in the hard pack

Top class riders piss me off when they hit new trails and run them like this. LOL They go so fast and even if you know the trail, you cannot keep up.

Maybe I'm out to lunch, but that Yamaha looks like it accelerates WAY harder than the GG-especially up top. . Looks fast everywhere of course, but damn when he gets through the midrange it looks like he's hitting nitros. That bike looks really fun to ride on the main at GH

Great video. I'm going to try your fork alignment method. The suggestion to hear the bolts is questionable. Typically manufacturers will specify doing so if that's their other. The grease can cause the bolts to be effectively over torqued.

Anyone got suspension tips for me ? Racing a track that gets really hard choppy and a few downhills with huge braking bumps, would I go harder(stiffer) or softer front and rear

It sounds like you're letting off the gas before the top of the jump, but it doesn't look like your front end is falling first? Just watch Deegan jump. He doesn't let off the throttle until the bike lands and he encounters a turn. It keeps your momentum going and probably shaves a quarter second off every jump to improve your lap time. Just a back seat drivers opinion.

Jeff - Great pace and really pushing - once you got into it. Been watching your training and race for a while now. It's not that you aren't fast - you ARE. The guys you're chasing are WOT from the gate. They are half a lap ahead by the time you get unglued. Would love to see you train one run-in lap. Stop, set up for start, then blast off full intensity from start to end. Your greatest gains could be unlocked in the first few laps. It's points gettin szn. RIP IT!
