  Daniel's cough may be the producers introducing something that makes a person who has not seen all the episodes or read all the books think Daniel is not a vamp. I know the 2002 Queen of the Dammed movie has its problems, but the soundtrack was IMO fantastic. I was hoping for music in that vein.

  Funny that the character of Maria gets a mention in the story The Man With The Golden Gun, as The actress who played Octopussy also acted in The Man with the Golden Gun. The only actress to play a bond girl twice.

  I did enjoy the movie but just a few days ago finished reading the book and I gotta say the book is a lot better. I do feel like this book could have been quite a good ending for the series as a whole and feel the show may end things after this story. Hard to say. Also with the exception of maybe Baby Jenks and perhaps Pandora and Eric I don’t really feel like any of the characters could have been left out without the story suffering. The climactic confrontation with Akasha was definitely underwhelming considering Mekare just shows up and decapitates her and that’s that but I did really love the final chapter or two where everyone is on the Night Island just kinda hanging around enjoying each others company.

  Before you listen to her “horrible overview” of this book, just know she is one of those pippo who does NOT like the fact Lestat and Akasha were in love. She does not mention the premise of the book at all because she clearly is upset about all the colorful parts of this vampire origin story. She really elaborates on the red twins though. For those of us who really enjoyed this book she has completely ignored the fact that Akasha and Lestat have everything in common and that his audacity to live in the open is what drew him near to her. Unfortunately Akasha wanting to kill men is simple minded and somewhat irrelevant to the story and her character as there were little indications that her husband was abusive to get in any way so killing him to accept Lestat should have just been a crime of passion and told that way. That is all

  Cant WAIT forcthis series ....so many old character friends n storirs! Bet theyll bookend the lot with lestats documentary interviee for Daniel as film maker with rhe band already big. Hope he still insidts on wtiting hos own book. Lol. But Gabrielle! Marius! Maybe even furst hints of MnM bit i reckin that'd be seasin 4 main plot. Ooohhh cant wait to see rhe cast n whos playing who! Jesse! Is it just me would crawl over hot glass shards to see Anthony Stewart Head as David drily slapping the labrador ....i mean....brat....princes cocky showing off enthusiasm down? Hes old enough now to be so good at it lolololol ❤

  do you think Enkil would be used?...he was King of the Vampires, but Akasha killed him shortly after she had awakened....do you think it's possible they might have a bigger role planned for him...like maybe he wasn't really dead, and he comes back to hurt Lestat by getting with Louis..."since you got my woman, i'm gonna take your man!"...

  I doubt they’ll do anything interesting with Enkil. At least in the books it was always Akasha running everything and he was just kind of married to her. Haha

  I don't think Daniel coughing was caused by Lestat. They can use the mind gift at long distances to talk, but to mind choke someone far away would be too powerful. Louis just ended season two calling out all the vamps that have been talking trash at him, one of them must have a powerful mind choke if that was the case and use it on him. Why call people to you if they can just mind choke them or you. Maybe Akasha has risen or rising.

  They already aged up Daniel so doubt we have old David Talbot. I still think Daniel will be the one body switched.

  I took the various looks of Lestat as a metaphor or visual representation of his next paragraph when he talks about his face and how it looks and his animation. "I’m six feet tall, which was fairly impressive in the 1780s when I was a young mortal man. It’s not bad now. I have thick blond hair, not quite shoulder length, and rather curly, which appears white under florescent light. My eyes are grey, but they absorb the colors blue or violet easily from surfaces around them. And I have a fairly short narrow nose, and a mouth that is well shaped but just a little too big for my face. It can look very mean, or extremely generous, my mouth. It always looks sensual. But emotions and attitudes are always reflected in my entire expression. I have a continuously animated face." Also Queen of the damned movie is AWESOME, haters gonna hate, but I rather liked QoD, also AMAZING soundtrack. Jonathan Davis lead front man from band Korn wrote quite a few songs as if he was a 400 year old vampire just for that movie. Awesome soundtrack. Too bad his label wouldn't let his voice be on the soundtrack and only in the movie. Still the artists they got to do the movie songs for the CD did quite well. I love your energy and vibe about this show, so good to see others that can appreciate this story, cant wait for season 03 and to watch your reactions.

  My take on the coughing his Daniel is still dying. I think this interview with Lestat takes place between when Louie meet him in New Orleans in the finale, and before Daniel goes on the news promoting his best selling book. I think Daniel will interview Lestat all through season 3 still sick and at the end of the season or mid way through Lestat will turn him. Either because Daniel is about to die and Lestat isn’t done telling his story, Lestat does it to mess with Louie.

  The timeline of the TV show isn’t going to line up with him doing his rockstar thing in 1987. Gotta remember that Daniel’s book was published in the present time. And present day Daniel appears to very much be a part of Lestat’s rockstar storyline.

  I think Lestat was “Force Choking” out Daniel, because Daniel starts hacking when he asks Lestat, “ I see you have my book there, what do you think”. I think Lestat “subtly” lets Daniel know what he feels about the book.

  That teaser was packed with intrigue.. 1. I believe the Armand told the truth is the show capitalizing on the polarization of our society.. They did it with X-Men 97 with Magneto told the truth.. 2. Daniel coughing could be some hidden vampire mind chocking Daniel for spouting something inappropriate he might say.. 3. Did you notice the choker on Lestat looks like his throat is slit?? A side note, you're not the only one who likes Queen of the Damned.. they made a good movie by accident.. supposedly they made the flic to keep the rights... The soundtrack is amazing..
