Welcome to Cool Again Restoration ! My name is David and I'm responsible for everything that happens around here.
This channel is all about the things I do and how I do it . Mainly you will see here restoration videos because CONVERTING OLD RUSTY THINGS TO NEW THINGS ARE SO SATISFYING and I will also do some customization project which I hope you like it.
FAQ:
1.Where I find the products that I restore? I walk often through the flea market but most of them are from Etsy or Ebay or some sellers from instagram.
2.What I do with them once they are restored? I will keep all of them and when this channel is successful I will offer them for sale and the money I receive will be donated to the needy.
I'm still learning how to work with KZread,so please help me out by subscribing and if you like my content tell me what you think in the comments section.

Not sure you will see this now but I will ask. Where did you find the new/replacement red Wilton logo? I have restored my Trademan 1750 and need a replacement!

Affascinante....mi piace un sacco ...vedere macchine utensili al lavoro....e che realizzano idee fantastiche....bravissimo😊😊😊
The most important tools you can buy are those that preserve other tools.
True 😊

Have you thought of getting a vapor blaster
I thought but probably I will make it happen to one of my future project 👍
That was so cool, again!
Thanks a lot James 😊
I don't like how it turned out. The item looks modern rather than new vintage. IMHO - it has become worse than it was. Sorry, I didn't mean to offend your work.
You're the first KZreadr I've ever seen doing it right: restoring the edge with a file not an angle grinder or any other electric tool.
Thanks a lot 👍
@@CoolAgainRestoration no problem. I just hope it inspires other people to do it the same way. I've seen too many axes and other tools being destroyed by morons with power tools who don't know nothing about frictional heating and heat treatment of steel.
@robusthedgehog yeah , you have right . But also with power tools can be done right if you keep an eye on the metal ( exactly what you talked about , friction and metal tempering ) 👍 glad to have educated people here , cheers mate
Well, that's all the originality taken away...including the casting defects. What a shame. It wouldn't have looked like this new.
Absolutely beautiful great work sir
Thanks a lot sir 😊
My satisfaction is immeasurable
Glad to hear that ! Thanks a lot 😊
You did a wonderful job. Where fid you get the sticker from? Also what would charge for this restoration?
Thanks a lot and glad you enjoyed Liz ! I bought the sticker from eBay , was the last one from the seller and made it wrong . The sticker has some typo but the seller made me another one . This restoration was for a client and if I remember well , he paid $1800 for the work and $520 shipping . He liked a lot and paid $300 extra .
@@CoolAgainRestoration thank you. I recently bought one of these presses for home canning apple and grape juice, but also needed a sassage press. So this press was perfect. I came to youtube to see if there was any restoration videos and I found yours.
@lizshuman9166 very nice purchase you made . Hope will get you satisfactions and hope you liked my work. Thanks a lot 😊
❤
I need to watch the video. The thumbnail looked like a steak. (EDITED)
Should I change the thumbnail ?
No! Not at all! 🙂 I see it as an axe head now, but even if not, who doesn't like steak? 😁
@@CoolAgainRestoration it was an enjoyable video. Nice use of an epoxy pin. 🙂👍
Thanks a lot and glad you enjoyed 😊 cheers man
It's looks more like a pétanque ball ;)
Love this kind of stuff🤗busy work all day and a perfect product at the end. 🤗satisfying
Thanks a lot and glad you enjoyed so much 😊
Pretty sure that's wrought iron with a steel bit. You probably ground most of the bit off. But the iron would have looked like wood grain if you used an acid like instant coffee to etch it. Nice work on the handle
Yeah , there is wrought iron with steel bit . That’s why the water corroded the iron more than the steel 👍 I have few people here who know that , glad you are one of them 😊 thanks a lot and glad you enjoyed the handle 👍
👍👍👍
Nice result but this isn't restoration
The word Restoration has many meanings but you have right , it is more like a restomod. But because of KZread algorithm and because people love more restorations than modifications, I had to put the word Restoration in the title . Probably if I had to write restomod or customization , this video have 20k views and probably you won’t be able to see it because KZread doesn’t show you 👍
When I’m done watching all these endless videos, I’ll be old and in need of heavy restoration
I waiting you in my workshop 😀
Grazie mille Marco 👍
"Abused Axe" LOOOL
Holy 💩 you are a true artist and craftsman, that was an outstanding job.
Thanks a lot and glad you enjoyed so much 😊
I was thinking the whole time when you said teach me a trick yeah right I know it all😂. Well that was new with the towel, good job.
Glad you enjoyed so much , thanks 😊
Seeing you use a wood chisel on metal is the only time you’ve made me cringe. 😂
It is a bad chisel that one and I use it just for these kind of jobs 😎
