I also work in the car audio field. i also work part time on cars, small repairs, some electronic repairs,etc. I love to make how to videos in my spare time to help out do it your selfer's. I have been around cars for over 35 years and love to work on them. I have a small window tinting and car audio business in San Diego California.     My son just replaced the grommet/bushing but lights stay on. Any ideas are helpful?

    My dog scratched up the top leather portion of the door panel, does the entire door panel need to be replaced or is can that piece be disassembled from the panel?

    Excellent video! Get the silicon grommets off Amazon and you dont have to pull out the pin. Just push the brake pedal with your hand and use the other to push them in place. I agree to let off the brake pedal to sit them in properly. Took me 5 minutes with this video and a flashlight.

    I watched the whole video and you did a great job. Unfortunately the driver side door won’t open from the inside or the outside so the panel can’t be removed. Any trick on how to get the door open? Thank you

    You would have to remove the front seats from the opposite door, so you can have room to remove the door panel. Once the panel is off , you would have to see why it is not opening

    This works from 2021-2023 Malibu. I ended up buying a package of red clips from dealership for further panel removals

    If you take the seat out, it will make it 10 times easier. Its very hard to get in there with the seat in the way

    Thanks! This is the most detailed instructional video for my 2007 Accord with the transponder. Helped confirm that would need to destroy the old case in order to get to the transponder.

    It should be the same, except for the window switch. Once you get the panel of, look at the switch from behind the panel and un plug it

    no it will not start. you will have to have a locksmith or a key programmer program a new key/remote that comes with a new chip

    I had to take my daughter’s airbox out to change the headlight on that side her 2009 Volvo S60 2.5. I guess the electric vacuum pump switch on the 2.4 is different but anyways it cracked where it gets skinnier than a straw installing everything back together when the job was done so now I have to replace it too.

    I know that the fasteners that hold the air box in place will break. Taking the airbox out does make the job that much easier

    i didn't fix the headrests. This was a customer's car that i was tinting, and i needed access to the rear window. its possible there was a blown fuse, but he didn't want to pay me to check it out.

    @@raiderman28 also the low pressure side house an evaporator are really hot to the touch when usually it could feel cold to touch

    @@raiderman28 looks like removing the washer like in the video fixed it been to days today it was 100F an the ac stayed ice cold compressor isn’t clicking on an off constantly

    I am not 100% sure if the 2023 & 2024 are the same. I have not done the 2024 yet. If the panels look the same, then they should come off the same. These are usually not that difficult to remove

    This was helpful but incase u didn’t know there’s an opening under the handle so u won’t damage the interior when wedging the flathead.

    There are alot of vacuum hoses on this truck. Usually you have to inspect each one carefully, to make sure they don’t have cracks

    I meant those under the upper intake in my truck there is 4 on the back and 2 in the front but I'm missing some of the and I dont know where the plug into

    My cd changer works but the load and eject mechanism stopped working properly so I can’t load or eject

    Those units have issues with that. Thats why i made the video, to take out the cd’s for a customer. I don’t repair these

    @@supersamuel64 if your replacing the radio/ changer, you don’t have to disconnect the battery. But you will need the radio code, and if it a navigation unit, you will need two codes ( one for radio and one for navigation). A bit of a pain to input codes with procedures.

    Thanks for the video. Been looking how to remove the mirror as someone side swiped it and broke but not much info or videos on how to remove it. Was trying to avoid taking off the door panels just to end up finding out you didn’t need to, but you made it seem easy so I wouldn’t mind taking it off and going from there

    I thought I could replace the shell, but your video helped me to KNOW I could. I was going to return these, as the Amazon ad deceptively made it sound like it had a chip slot (“Replacement for 4 Button Honda Remote Key Shell - with Chip Holder”), but 2-sided plastic carpet tape worked fine. The only frustration was in cutting the key blade out of the old shell: It was just tedious. Saved $250 from dealer quote (May 2024). $10 for 2 shells plus my labor. Thank you!
