    Looks good! But what’s the purpose of GSXR front wheel and did you replace the rear wheel as well?

  • @T-Machinist
    @T-Machinist17 сағат бұрын

    Both wheels are replaced with 17” gsxr wheels, less unsprung weight which lets the suspension work better. Less rotating mass better handling. Saves 35 lbs. off the bike weight. Way more tire selections.

    I assumed you researched all options that came to you. I looks like it’s the best bang for the buck. Since the video, have you noticed any issues or little quirks with the swing arm? I can’t remember did you put the GSX’r rear wheel on the back as well? Nice work either way, brother!

  • @T-Machinist

    I had this same swing arm on my 2019 Roadglide. That bike had way more power than this one. Never had any issues. The only thing is if you have legend revo arcs . On the high lifter swing arm you can’t run it in the stock height position. The bottom of spring perch contacts the high lifter mount. If you have stock or ohlins there isn’t any problem. If you have legend revo A shocks you can flip them upside down. Or A1 has a swing arm without the high lifter option , there won’t be any problems with shocks if you don’t desire an increased ride height.

    I really like them. The stock bars are nice this year, but I like the looks of the Thrashin set up and I have the pull back plate along with the 6.5 “ pull back risers. It’s not the typical Thrashin set up they are selling for the 2024. I had to make 1.5” spacer for under the pull back plate for it to work. The pull back plate then sits outside the clam shell. I think Thrashin just uses the 9” in the stock location. Yes I believe it’s more comfortable. I like the bars close so I have more of an upright riding position.

  • @T-Machinist
    @T-Machinist12 күн бұрын

    Yes I still have abs. You would have to make new front spacers,run a radial caliper set up with the conversion mounts, space the mounts to line up the front rotors. On the back you have to modify the cushion drive , modify the stock rear brake bracket milling some material off so everything lines up centered and in line with the front wheel, and make a new spacer for the drive side.
