    Awesome looking bike man! I have the CVO ST and doing similar things to it. I just put Sawicki pipes and the SE tuner on it until better is available. Did you drill the holes in the bars or already get yours in?

  • @T-Machinist

    Thank you…I didn’t drill any holes in the bars . I just removed the plastic boss from throttle side and didn’t put the screw pin in on the clutch side. I like to be able to fine tune the placement of the levers.

    For your wheels set up, is it stock wheel spacer and do you still have the ABS?

  • @T-Machinist

    @T-Machinist

    4 күн бұрын

    Yes I still have abs. You would have to make new front spacers,run a radial caliper set up with the conversion mounts, space the mounts to line up the front rotors. On the back you have to modify the cushion drive , modify the stock rear brake bracket milling some material off so everything lines up centered and in line with the front wheel, and make a new spacer for the drive side.

    Everything is from Harley-Davidson Screamin’ eagle it is a flash tune from their pro street tuner. Moonshine Harley Davidson has a video on the stage 2 upgrade. I didn’t have it tested on the dyno for power, as this is just a temporary set up , until the after market catches up.

    Speedo doesn’t work after unplugging abs , but the tach does. Disables traction control , this is only at the track, wouldn’t recommend for the street if you know what I mean.

    It’s up to you. I will be upgrading asap whenever bigger throttle bodies, ported intake manifolds, and tuning become available. The cam does make a big difference though. I had a 23 Roadglide st with a 64mm throttle body, ward ported manifold and the wood 777xe cam which is the biggest woods cam for stock valve springs. The fastest that bike ran was a 11.67 et. My 2024 ran 11.72 et. So the new heads in this bike are way better. Im real excited for the aftermarket to catch up.

    @@T-Machinist Haha that’s funny I had a 23’ SG ST but I only had slip-ons on it. Was about to some motor work then I started hearing about the 24’ redesign so I held off. I’m glad I did, I sold the SG and got a 24’ RG. These 24’s are so much better in every way. I’m excited for the aftermarket to catch up also. Looks like it’ll just be SE stuff for this summer though 🍻

    @T-Machinist

    I don’t know about the vvt. I don’t believe anything is available except a flash tune using the HD pro street tuner for the cvo vvt models. As far as the non vvt 117 HD has a screaming eagle 511 cam , but you must also purchase the pro street tuner to correct tuning. As of right now this is all I’m aware of for options, until the after market catches up .

The new heads on these really do make a difference. Thanks for looking out.

It is perfect for people that are only going to change the exhaust and air cleaner. If you plan on doing a cam swap, big bore kit. I believe they are still working on the power vision for these applications.
