I like to build stuff with my own hands. Woodworking, gardening and outdoors makes me feel alive. In my spare time I try to film some of my projects and share for anyone interested.
By no means I'm not a professional builder or gardener but I'm learning all the time.

I think it's called butyl tape.
Sounds familiar 👍
Awesome guy
Voce é um incrível artesã...
I love tar making because you get 2 useful products at once. The wood turns to charcoal or some of it to kindling but all is coated with some tar, so great for firemaking. And tar has so many uses from waterproofing wood, to being boiled down into pitch, useful as a glue.
Nice summer in Finland. Good job.
👌
Great to see more progress. Well done👏🏼
Näitä katsoo aina mielellään. Yläjyrsin on kans kätevä vehje vinojen puiden "suoristamisessa". Mahdollisimman leveän terän ja samantapaisen kelkan kanssa, mitä tuossa sirkkelin kanssa käytitkin. Ei tosin kovin nopea sekään.
Great work! Always enjoying your vlogs :)
Nice to see you again! Are you using real glass or polycarbonate?
It’s real safety glass.
@@FinnishPlayground Wonderful! Thanks for the reply my friend! :)
Wow no one can not say you are a great craftsman. Really nice see you back. A project well done. Many more I hope. Blessings
Welcome back my friend. I look forward to watching this new project.

I want to learn the formula for making no gap dovetail corners on cabin. Please advise. Thanks
I like how he takes photo holding a axe, and uses a chainsaw!
Beautiful!
Awesome 👍🏻
Excellent craftsmanship, you did a very good job on those dovetails, insulating, log framed roof, notching, etc, I was impressed, and I've been in the building trade for over 40 years.
That is the prettiest greenhouse in Finland!
Jos löydät sopivat tai sit teet ite mut mun mielestä jotku mustat taotut metalliset stopparit sopis tohon erittäin hyvin. Nää sun videot on kyllä parasta mitä youtube tarjoaa. Kiitos 😁
Looks Amazing!
Good to see the Spring and your progress!
👍👌
Captions on but…nothing appears :) No dialogue at all and since the audio is bad, you speak like you think you are in church :)
Ah, need to fix the captions. I thought the sound is okay at least 🤔
Nice to see you back! Good job. 👍🏻💪🏻
How about installing the stoppers on the boards that you place over the seams? So that the stoppers dont touch the horizontal board and hence atleast in theory the water wouldnt rot that board 🤔
I'm considering that too. Good side to that option is that those boards need to be replaced anyway at some point so little extra moisture isnt' that big of a deal.
👍👏
do you boil off the water later to get the thick tar?
No, it's pretty thick already because I didn't take the first tar that came out. Later on it's pretty pure stuff.
Absolutely excellent video..Theank you for the lesson, and sharing it..
Very nice work thank you
Hei Voisinko saada sähköpostiosoitteesi ? Kovasti kiinnostaa tuo paikka ja mulla olisi muutama kysymys 😊 Olipa muuten upea video!
Moi, yhteisövälilehdeltä kanavan tiedoista löytyy sähköpostiosoite.
Löytyi! Laitoin mailia :)
I also have to say that you guys did a remarkable footage of the area.
Oh my God! What a beautiful landscape. That's just amazing. Thanks for sharing.

Throwing shade at Sweden by using a Stihl 😅
What camera you are using?
Panasonic GH5 mostly in this channel. Sony A7SIII sometimes too.
Lapland is so wild landsscape i hope next time you can find bigger nugets ,just wonderin which is best time without mosquito season, september ot octomber ,my plan is this year to visit solo exacliy same river
I would prefer early june or august. Depends on the year though. Sometimes it’s tolerable through the summer except for the midsummer. Have a great hike!
where did you find that insulation board ?
This will last a lifetime and longer

Oh look this kid one baby he's 2 years old lol, nice 😂 i see watch down looked like
Nice. How many times would you have to do this to fill up your tar barrel?
Too many 😅 I should use some old stumps that has much more tar in them. I actually found much better stumps, but didn't have time to try again yet.
Great video. As soon as I saw the fitting of the bottom of the barrel I thought "You want your kid in there ti hold it up". Great minds. Wasn't too sure how he'll get out after the tops been put on 😁 Would having some bands in the middle help to pull the boards together and make it water/oil proof? Would soaking the rims before steaming have made them more flexible?
Thanks! Soaking could help i guess, but I didn't find a place to do that then.
