    Hi. I don't get it how long does it take to export 4K video on every device? It is not clear based on that info on video. How long was video clip that you import in adobe rush and how long was exporting? Tnx

    how's the fan noise under load? does it coil whine? thanks

  • @mattiasanderssonSWE
    @mattiasanderssonSWE9 күн бұрын

    I could hear the fans when I exported this video, but no coil whine. The laptop got very hot during the export and I noticed afterwards that I had no wifi connection. Perhaps due to some temperature issues or something else... The version of Capcut that I used when exporting the video was, at least that what I think, running in x86 mode, not as an native ARM application. That did not make it better, so to say 🙂

    Tough one... When looking on Komplett.no, the 16-inch will be in stock in August. But if you really want the larger version, I think you can wait for it. I will show more in the next video, but there are some things that could work better (mostly my video editor of choice CapCup). Hopefully with some software updates. I saw though that you can get the fastet x elite cpu with the 1tb 16-inch (the x1e-84-100). The 14-inch has the x1e-80-100.

  • @mattiasanderssonSWE
    @mattiasanderssonSWE16 күн бұрын

    Hi! No gaming so far on this laptop (it's really not ment for gaming) but I might install something just to try it out 🙂 16GB... It depends I guess off what you are going to do. For me it's enough - and I do some video editing on this laptop. But as someone mentioned on KZread, if you are going to run a lot of AI stuff, then it might not be enough with 16GB. AI takes up a lot of RAM... I've only used Audacity and it works. I also have a EVO4 but I haven't connected that one yet to this new laptop. So I don't know if the drivers work or not...

  • @mattiasanderssonSWE

    I don't know how the "pro" s pen is compared to Apple pencil since I don't have one. But they look a bit similar 🙂 And no, the nib hasn't "worn out" at all, from what I can see. And I've been using it on a mat screen protector from Dux Ducis. Plus there are 2 more nibs that comes with the pen. Plus I think I would recommend this one for note taking. The larger pen is more comfortable for longer use, so if you are a student for instance, the creator edition could be perfect.

    @@mattiasanderssonSWE Fusion 360 is free of charge for non commercial use. Making a video of it running on a computer, rather than build objects, i guess, is not a commercial use of it. For 3D printing, you need both Fusion 360 to design objects and Cura to "slice" them before you send the object to the 3D printer to print it.

    Hey Mattias, if you don't end up liking it I'll be very happy to take it off your hands granted that you ship it to México! Jokes aside, I truly hope that arm processors can prove themselves as worth competitors to traditional ones since this would push the industry forward. Furthermore, since it's already been some time since they were introduced, I believe that both manufacturers and prograam developers have had enough chance to work out any, or at least most, issues that could come with the different architecture. Looking forward to your review, and if you don't like it in the end, at least you'll have a really pretty paperweight, cheers!

  • @mattiasanderssonSWE

    I think the only problem here can be that since there are now 2 different CPU architectures for running WIndows, and one of them has roughly around 99,99% of the market, it might be difficult to get the app makers to develop for the 0,001%🙂 But we will see if things are good enough or not. Or if I end up with the best paperweight of all time 😀 Salud 🥂

    Did you charge the keyboard when you got it? Mine wasn't fully charged (as so many times before when bying stuff online), but I usually charge the keybord 2 times/month or so... I use a widget on my tablet so I can see how much battery is left on the Doqo keyboard. There is a standby mode on the keyboard so you don't need to power off/on when not in use. But depending on where and how you rest your right palm, you might hit the on/off button anyway... Not the best placement of that button 😞

    I haven't had any breaking issues at all with the creator edition of the s pen. It's a pretty solid tip/nib-thing. But I saw one video where the solution to (I think) some tilt issue was to use a tool of some sort and pull out the nib a little bit. I guess if you press hard enough after doing that, then I guess the nib could break. There's a larger gap between the nib and the pen...
