Mattias, I assume you have 16GB RAM. Would you recommend buying with 32GB of RAM for someone else with very similar needs: Lightroom, Chrome tabs, plus Zoom and KZread? Thank you!!

Hi Michael! Yepp, I have the 16GB RAM-version. Here in Sweden, the only version of Galaxy Book3 that has 32GB RAM is the Ultra model. For about 2000 USD more... But I can see on my link to Amazon that there seems to be a 32GB version of the Book3 Pro model and if that one was available here in Sweden, I would probably have bought that one instead. More RAM is always welcomed 🙂 However, I have not run into any issues whatsoever with "only" 16GB RAM. Lightroom Classic works just fine. And I do all of my video editing in CapCut, that is a very lightweight video editor compared to for example DaVinci Resolve. I don't use Chrome that much, I'm more of a Edge guy and sometimes a bit of a Firefox dude as well. Hope this helps somewhat 🙂

I also do some lightroom foto editing and I am struggeling to make a choice between dell inspiron 16 plus with 32 gb ram and 1TB ssd and nvidea rtx 4060 video card and this samsung laptop. Samsung laptop is equiped with the better amoled screen and dell with vga screen. Samsung has on board video card and only 16gb ram. What about the amount of bloatware pre installed on samsung laptops?

Depending of what one might call bloatware, but the only "not_wanted_by_me"-software where the antivirus software from some company. I don't call the Samsung apps installed bloatware. I use QuickShare almost every day for instance. Or the Samsung settings app where you can turn on Multi Control etc. Or that I can use my Galaxy Ear Buds without any pairing... But I use other Samsung devices as well. If you don't do that, then all of these Samsung software is "bloatware". But then, don't buy a Samsung laptop... Regarding the Dell Inspiron or the Samsung Galaxy Book3 Pro... Tough question. A dedicated GPU is a very nice thing to have. And more RAM as well. But I can't say that I have missed all of that when editing thousands of photos in Lightroom on the Galaxy Book3 Pro laptop. I don't do any "massive" edit of every photo. There are some adjustments of brightness etc...White balance... Adding a preset of some sort. And then exporting in high res.

If I remember correctly you have a tab s8 ultra. Have you tried using it as a second screen?

You remember correctly 😀I have not tried to use my tab s8 ultra as a second screen, yet. I'm not that good of an artist to use the tablet of some sort of drawing tablet in Photoshop, for instance. But I can off course try and see if it's to much latency or not.

This laptop does it hace samsung calendar app and reminders just like one ui ??? I see samsung notes and bixby but no samsung calendar app or reminders

Samsung Calendar and Reminder are android only apps. But you can use any calendar app in windows. And you can sync your reminders with Microsoft To Do, so you can use Reminder on your phone/tablet and To Do on your laptop/desktop.

Can you say something about how fluent this laptop works with Ai fotosoftware, for example topaz foto AI

Sorry to say but I haven't tried any more advanced AI photo software so I can't say how well (or bad) that would work on this laptop.

It's good enough, but off course it could be better. I usually keep mine plugged in to my monitor, so it hasn't been a deal breaker for me... You get some, you lose some 🙂

I own galaxy tab s8 with 8 gigs of ram and use LumaFusion to edit on it. It struggles on videos that go longer than 10 minutes. Looking at grabbing this 16 gig laptop to edit on. Does this laptop offer LumaFusion. I’m just used to editing on lumafusion and like it. Thank you

As far as I know, LumaFusion is not available on Windows, so the answer to if this laptop offer LumaFusion is no. But you could, if you buy a laptop, use CapCut instead. It's free and I think it works great on a regular windows laptop. It's not as demanding as Davinci Resolve, and works similar to what LumaFusion does.

Hi! The battery life is decent. It could be better, but also worse. If I turn on Optimized mode, screen to 70 percent brightness and on only 60Hz (instead of 120Hz), I get around 7 hours. Give or take...

Mycket bra fråga... Jag har själv aldrig använt en Book3, men det jag tror är främst upplösningen (1920 x 1080 mot 2880 x 1800 på Book3 Pro) och en något långsammare processor. Kanske lite sämre batteritid också, men det vet jag inte. Book3 är något tyngre också. Men med priset jag såg på Dustinhome för en Book3 så känns den som ett bra köp. Ser ut att vara snarlik i kvalité som Book3 Pro.

Does this laptop have built in editing software?

@@godisgood5038 I film most of my videos using my phone, a S23 Ultra. And I use the automatic settings there... But when I film using a DLSR, then all I know is that the shutterspeed should be double your frame rate... So if you film for instance in 30fps, then your shutterspeed should be 1/60. All my audio is recorded using a rode usb-c mic connected to my Tab S8 Ultra. And I record in an app called Cubasis. And after recording I add some effects in Cubasis. For editing my videos, I use CapCut on my laptop. It's a free video editor. And all footage and audio are copied to the laptop using QuickShare.
