What are the green and red corals at the bottom of the tank looking like mushrooms (still new to corals so idk a lot of names) ?
I am making a frag tank because of all the racks but amazingly your tank is gorgeous even with all the racks! Do you think I can tune down the smat farm enough for a 20 g long frag tank with shrooms and zoas and lower light lps like acans. I have 2 unused ones so hate to spend more if they will work and you said they are good lights! It either them or 2 unused fluval nanos and buying an extra.

My nitrates are always 0-2 i dont have corals yet but when i get them will i have to dose nitrates also and what is the ideal number to have them at ?

Very heartwarming father and son relationship! Love it made me emotional! Nice to put a face to the voice! Very handsome both you and ur dad! I wish my daughters and hubby were into reefing! As far as your viewers you are both right! I started becoming interested (long story) but was fish sitting a betta that had no tank! I went and bought one at petco! Stole the fish from him LOL. Anyway that trip to petco got me interested seeing the fish and small amount of corals! It was during covid so being inside got me watching You tubes and was fascinated my the beauty! My biggest mistake in reefing is getting carried away with buying corals LOL. To many at once when I was a newbie, lost most of them from fractometer at the time being off(since got a hanna checker) best investment ever! I have done so many ebay auctions that I cant resist buying when they go off cheap! LOL Plus investing 50 to ship makes me go nuts haha. I have got some insane deals on there though. At one time I had every high end zoa there is pretty much! I love your videos. Thanks for all the content you provide:)
How do I find you on ebay? I want OG bounce and eclectus for now! I spent almost 5 k on ebay That died(long story) i think I am going to be buying all from you plus I do have a local person real cheap for less high end just to fill my tank up quickly since I racked out my credit cards! LOL What a shame about the rainbow chalices! You must have paid a pretty penny because small piece cost me a lot and it died too! Illness and didint get a chance to transfer them all from sand bed!
Love your videos! Gorgeous mushrooms and tank! Since you have so many and are selling I would love to buy an eclectus maybe two! Please Please let me know! I bought over 5 k in high end corals mostly shrooms and zoas! I had every high end zoa there was! OMG! I got super sick and hospitaized then bedridden for months b4 and after and lost all of them! UUUGGHH of course all my low end survived! Mushrooms were kind of my fault. Most wandered off or got burried during vacuuming sand bed but now I cage them until they get big enough! Then I account for everyone after a water change and stated vacuuming every other change! LOL!

Is it possible to grow some lps corals and have a few fish in a 40 breeder with just a hang on back protein skimmer as filtration ? Tank will have alot of rock and an inch bed of sand.

You think I can add a a simple acrylic filter and use it like how you did and hang it on the back of a all in one saltwater tank?

Im a full time musician from Winona MN, live in St. Louis for many years now. Ive had many bad shows, keyboards break down costing me a fortune, road trip expenses in the negative, band mates screwing my GFs,...etc. I would never quit. Neither should you. I play for thousands of people every week now, after persevering any hardships in my profession. This was your dream right? I would talk to Aqua SD and ask them how they avoid being scammed by shipping. Im sure they have stories that would make you feel better. Your corals look way too good to have a 'dead' website because of one bad transaction with a sketchy guy. Screw R2R and Scambay.
I appreciate the feedback and encouragement. However, as much as I do love reefing, I also love photography and my family. And it becomes a point where I have to choose between them so often that it wears me out. I want to be able to travel and help other veterans and addicts and can never leave home for more than a day or 2 at most because there's so much anxiety :-/ I spent a lot of time making this decision and I'm happy with my future. I'm sorry to those who loved watching my KZread channel and I still say never quit! That doesn't mean don't stop doing something, it means keep doing what you love doing, and you're the best at.

Bro some of my corals are just dying and don't know why... Others are doing great in same tank so I'm stumped
My water test showed my iodine was really low. Not sure if that can make a huge difference or not. Did you try sending in a water test
I have a chalice in 130 pat with no issues. I do know close the glass my park is greater so I keep it back from that

I had chalices close together and they stung each other so i moved them further away.
If that was the case it wouldn't just be receding at the edges though
