Reef Tank Update - Insanely Beautiful Everything and New Tank!

So I finally got the new system set up and put a bunch of coral in there! This has been such a big moment and so exciting for our family!! Check out these amazing corals as they continue their journey of life into the new 76 gallon shallow tank.

    Hi aquaticsBob can introduce your sump tank and what is your phosphate and nitrate levels.Cause I try many methods but just can't bring the nutrients down.Thanks.

    @@aquaticbobs what 2 part you run Bob....been using BRS for a while.. plus some others in the past. Just prefer making it for its cost savings

    @@Sammy31Dee great question, Overall I've had pretty great success with bright well aquatics reef code a and reef code B. The reason I like it is because it has trace elements as well

    @@aquaticbobs yea I had planned to dose Tropic marin trace to the BRS two part....but honestly my ICP test/s come back great bc my sump is in basement so I benefit from that added water volume.....now I have a 100$ worth of trace just collecting dust the last few years ....using IO purple

    Just cycled a large 180 waterbox the same exact way (except i used seed not fritz) everything else to a T the same way though hah....corals went in like a week later and it immediately started flourishing....I definitely am a big believer of lining it all up sooner than later ....corals almost immediately...doser at maybe a month after max....once I show no ammonia it's go go GOOOO ... I add all the peripherals and treat it like it's a decade old tank from the rip

    Haha that's great to hear! I also just added 4 bottles of algae barns eco pods to hopefully eliminate some or part of the ugly stages
