You have many gorgeous corals. Thanks for sharing with us your experiences. Just a small correction: PO4 inhibits the precipitation of carbonates and calcium so high values of PO4 makes harder for the corals to build the scheleton, hence slower growth in SPS. Zoothelidae are not bothered by high PO4, they are a type of dinoflagelate that uses nutrients and light.

Thanks man for the support of the name Arctic corals! Unfortunately I haven't sold Bob on it so I'm going to keep on with the creative new name campaign:-)

Haha your not the 1st person lately to mention the glowing green goni. When it's fully extended its not quite as brilliant but still looks like a fake glow in the dark coral :-) and the symhyllia is getting harder and harder to part with.

15g update. For the first time in MONTHS my Rasta and WWC Illuminati zoas look fully open and happy. It’s been like 9 months since they looked this good. So I’m guessing my nutrients are starting to stabilize from the caulerpa macro algae I added. I have had the lights on with the UV running and the Dino’s are all gone except I see some in the sandbed once in a while so I blow it out of the sand to get it sucked into the Uv. .. I really hope this uv can completely get rid of these bastards ! This has been a loooongggggg hard battle. If it was anyone else they would’ve quit already especially a new reefer in the hobby. Dino’s suck.
