  Chanel is a conservative brand that does "polite" fragrances. BdC has presence without trying to impose itself to the surrounding. Too much projection can be seen as vulgar.

  heres hoping the 30ml experimental collection gets more entries. unatamam is great, i got it while i was in istanbul because it reminds me of the egyptian market there. i love how wonderfully spicy and aromatic it is without getting sweet. its a great time if you like a herbal blast

  Thanks for the review, AC. Hacivat is one of those fragrances that got hyped through the roof and rightfully so imho. It is a stunner and fortunatelly it does not bother my nose or throat in any way. One of my all time favourites and easily 10/10 in my book :) Love wearing this fragrance but I try to use it for special occasions not to make it too common for my nose. Here I can see your argument that it can become a bit boring after some time. If you will have a chance, check out also Karagoz from the same collection as Hacivat. Would love to hear your thoughts on that one as well. Take care :)

  Clearwood is a beautiful patchouli material, but it’s very soft. It’s kinda like comparing ISO E Super to a real Cedarwood Oil.

  Cheers A.C., I’ve long debated getting this one to add to my collection as I do really enjoy Aventus and indeed anything Aventus inspired lol, Parana from Bois 1920 is a terrific inspiration of the King 👑. I got way laid when the X came out and then the Oud version,however I think I may look out for a grey market deal and finally snag a bottle despite your heads up on potential irritation issues hahaha , he who dares wins lol 😂.   I am solidly hopeful that it wouldn't bother your nose and throat as it does mine. I have a nose thats way too sensitive, and thats one reason I avoid vintage fragrances very heavy on aldehydes and oakmoss, i suffer immediately. I adore fragrances like Mitsouko, Chanel No 5 or Azuree but boy do i suffer after putting them on.

  Great review as always AC! This one's performance has been described as nuclear by the fragcom. So as my wife has a sensitive nose...gona stay away...she might chop me up in lil pieces. This is like the Jackie Shroff or Jeff Goldblum of fragrances...u make an entrance and capture the room. Or if you are a Film Noire fan...then an Edward G Robinson 😉.

  I have an idea, take your wife along to the shop and test it in her presence, if she approves you have nothing to fear :). I had Viv Richards in mind but I will go with Jackie Shroff , can't beat that man.

  I blind bought it when the video first came out and today it arrived. I've been a collector and a vivid fan of your channel and the joy I got with all the fragrances I own, this scent made me happy. I bought it for around 25$ but gave me the feeling of using a high end niche scent. Thank you

  Hi AC, bit off topic, was going through your catalog of videos but I found searching for "smells good top fragrances" doesn't yield many results from your channel. Would you consider slightly renaming your channel, perhaps to AC Smells Good? Might help with reach and ease of searching. Thought to share my experience, glad to have you reviewing again

  hahah so am I, most probably its the lemony sharp smell that hides behind that pineapple. its quite sour and I can almost taste it at the back of my throat every time I spray it.
