Here comes your dosage of fishing goodness!!
I've spent the most part of my life fishing, I was virtually born into it. Fishing for me is my passion and purpose in life, and I want to share all of my experiences big and small with you. Now fishing isn't always easy, no matter how hard you try there's always some factor that is out of your control, and I always say that it's 80% luck/ 20% skill!
Enjoy everyone! 80/20 that's fishing!

Not using wire trace means your just gonna waste time
Great idea, really appreciate your videos 😊
Thanks mate 🤙
Hey mate. Loving your videos. Any chance you can do a video with tips on using the side scan / sonar ?
I reckon I could look at doing a dedicated video in the future 🤙
Did you or ya dad do all the floor and gunnel work ya selfs? I looked rhrough ya vids if ya had anything on that, looks good anyways.
LOL watch out for those nipples I mean nippers LOL 😅😅😅. Really good to see a healthy waterway flourishing with life
Nice little river snapper. Amazing what you can catch with a bit of rubber.
Pretty crazy what they’re willing to eat 😂
seriously do you teach local how to do this shit I have $$
Haha sorry mate. Only teach through my videos at best. I should start putting some more detail for people to practice themselves.
Love your content. Thanks for a your detail. Just found you and now subscribed. Great Stuff.
Thanks mate appreciate the added support 🤙
always carry a spare pair of sunnies in the boat you might drop a pair over board or stand on them etc it pays off in the end mate. remember mate Spectacles, Testicles, Wallet and Watch oh and winch handle, we all have those days mate.
Hahaha that’s it 😂👌 I’ve got spare sunnies everywhere now
Hey guys awsome video.. I was wondering I fish at the port of Brisbane boat ramp. I use grub with 1/16 jig head. But haven had any luck. What do you think. Should I use different lures or fish in diffrent spot
All depends on where you’re fishing aye. If you’re working super shallow areas than by all means go light. But if you’re targeting those deeper areas, definitely go a heavy jighead and find some of those higher current spots. Fish love current.
Yep dam speed masters
So much fun aye 👌
What rigs are you slaying with??
Normally running jerkbaits. It’s probably more of a preference than anything else, but they work well. The g.loomis really puts the hurt on em and the shimano curado goes alright.
Hooked onto one of these today. Turned out to be a damn big stingray at tennyson
😂😂😂
Got to love those sharks.
😂🤦♂️ just makes it hard to do anything aye
Bit chilly there
Hahaha yeah. Been a bit nippy 😅
Great video Josh, The Steez Soft Shell 90 getting the job done again!
It’s been working a treat. Ain’t many fish that can resist 😂
❤🇨🇵👍
For 3 minutes I thought might not see tea bagging Clara's rocks...
😂😂😂 I tried
That’s a great session. I missed the name - what were the vibes you were using?
Thanks mate. It was the Daiwa soft shell steez 90 👌
Thanks for posting Josh, it's great watching the way you work.
Thanks mate really appreciate the comment 🤙
G'day champ, I enjoy your vids. What is that lure your using to catch the snapper, bream and flathead. Cheers man.
It’s the daiwa steez soft shell 90 vibe. Pretty deadly when you rig them up with the smaller assist hooks too 👌
Hey great video , when you set your drift , do you use the electric to slow down your drift , a lot ?
It’s so dependent on conditions at any given time. Cause the current could be too weak to even bother motoring fast, other times you’ve got to have it cranked up just to keep a good pace. And then of the wind and current go opposite ways it just adds a whole other element 😅 not really answering your question I know 😂
I’m picturing myself replacing drag washers after fighting big threadies like this 😂👌 nice work mate
😂😂 yeah they definitely punish the gear
They are strong those threads 🤙 that was epic
They’re something else hey. One of them fish you’d never tire of 😮💨
Get a couple of polarised sunglasses from Kmart for $10ea keep 1 in ya boat and one in ya car. 😎 Tip from ya Aunty😊
Got it all sorted now 😂😅
Still there in the cold 🥶 nice threddy
This was about a month ago, but there’ll be some there still. They go a bit like Barra and shut down
Great esp mate , really enjoyed it
Thanks mate 🙏🏻 glad you enjoyed it.
Suggestion: How about a video on how/ when/ why you use your electric outboard ? Thanks for sharing knowledge on techniques etc!
Mate i really appreciate that suggestion. It gives me a few different ideas. 👌
Good vid again Josh - how long did you leave the crab on the coals mate?
Thanks mate 🤙 I can’t remember exactly how long to be honest. I didn’t time it so much as I actually just smelt for when it was done 😅 I’d say it would’ve been about 15 mins (approx) in total 7ish minutes a side.
@@BrisVegasFishing Thanks mate - bit like you been meaning to do a crab that way for a long time 👍
@@lexirwin about time I got around to giving it a crack 😂 definitely room for improvement as it’s not my favourite method
@@BrisVegasFishing But the surroundings make it taste better 😆
Nice episode mate, that Jack was so cool!
Who doesn’t love a surprise bycatch 😂
@@BrisVegasFishing And it’s better than those surprise catfish at the port 😉😂
@@willkitching oooft! Stop it you dawg 😂
This was a great episode Josh, I was just thinking it’s time for an overnighted at the pin now I’m really fired up. Thanks for the inspiration.
Hahaha you’re welcome mate. Get out there and enjoy it 👌😂
Im on Russell. Looking forward to getting after a few fish soon. Love to catch up if ya keen mate. Cheers. Few hot ones, cold ones, fresh muddies...
Lucky. 😂 thanks for the offer mate 🤙
Must of been nice to have Cabbage tree boat ramp to yourself hahaha
It’s a bloody rarity these days hey 😂
Nice work cheers for the content
Thanks mate. 🤙
Beautiful conditions up there at the moment Josh, gee's that was a nice chunky little Mangrove Jack.....good and healthy.
Super healthy looking for its size. Well fed 😂
I want to do the same on my little 14ft twin V. Great video! What did you use for the strengthening ribs inside the pods?
I actually shaped up my own ribs out of foam and then just glassed em in. Just for that bit of added strength on the hull side.
You should do some guiding for the river you got it down pat. For yonks it seems could only get fish near the ship pylons or watevs they called and your out in the channel. Pretty interesting
That sounds like way too much pressure 😂 I might know what I’m doing but to someone else on to the fish is a whole different kettle 😅
@BrisVegasFishing not so much like chartering but I'm sure people would pay ya to show you how to fish the river
Im going to start calling you whiskers man 😊😅😂
😔 fetch me the crown 😂👑
You just got to love catfish 😂
I never knew they croak like frogs 😂 Well, we don't have them in my country.
Haha they’re a funny creature. What country doesn’t have catfish?? 😂
The light action will always hook a bigger fish. My theory is how discrete the presentation is. Thin line ect. Catfish are apex predators they'll eat almost everything in a pond or aquarium.
They’re incredibly fierce and always hungry. Always good fun hooking big fish on light gear, there’s that added element of stress that gets the adrenaline pumping 😅
Good video. It drives me crazy when people leave there headlights on at the boat ramp while I'm backing up. 😅
I honestly didn’t even notice 😂 I’m just used it
Catties just love a yabby try getting through them at wivenhoe chasing bass its a nightmare
Oh that would be a nightmare 😂 fight a harder than a bass too.
Has anyone eaten one of these before?
@@twohands_canAmericans do all the time
@BrisVegasFishing on the flats yea bass are tame I had some play up near the rocky edges. I got a 86cm catfish on 6lb 1000 spin reel and 2 - 4lb rod took me half an hour to get it in
@twohands_can from dams and river be foul but I been told if u catch em in sandy bottoms in the salt their pretty good
please never forget the sunnies again wawawa good fishing
😂😂😂 definitely ain’t letting it happen again
Awesome session…..what size jighead mate?
Thanks mate. I was just using a 3/4 ounce daiwa bait junkie.
Awesome video as usual …Give the man some spotters sunnies 😂
Hahaha thanks mate 🤙 a sunnies spono wouldn’t go astray 😂
So now everyone knows the Bait Junkie Kikker Curly is a versatile soft plastic, whether its bottom hopping or chasing those topwater eats! 🐸🔥
Definitely a lure to add to the arsenal 👌👊
