I liked the ending of EoE more. It gave me a stronger emotional impact and overall changed me more as a person. Not trying to knock down the Rebuilds though, they’re meant to be their own thing that’s very different from Evangelion while still being it at the same time

For me Rei meant finding myself as a person. Even know I struggle with myself and who i am. Seeing Rei deal with emotions she could not understand and try to find herself as a human. I saw myself within her and it make me believe in self-esteem and worth. It made me want to find myself through others and be happy. She will forever mean that for me, the emption of lonliness and the belief of having nothing.

I absolutely adore this theory and think it has a high probability of happening. But personally I think (hope??? in negative way) that if Riko's original soul would be returned to her, she would become a different person. Something like what Ship of Theseus argues over. I think it would be perfectly tragic. Of course, your arguments that multiple souls can live in one being make sense as well, although I could argue that it's not the same because being born as a fusion of multiple souls as (I assume) is Nishagora's (and maybe other Juusou, too) case and being artificially turned into a fusion like this... is not the same. Dunno how to explain it, lol. Reg's case is more complicated but seeing how he turned into a completely different person after one of the 'souls' possessed his body doesn't look great, imo.

It was stated he got it shortly after she was sighted. Though the implication is there, it's not clear how exactly he obtained Sparagmos. As far as the relic grading system goes... Yeah, it's all over the place. My guess is because there have been multiple white whistles throughout history, they're not nearly as rare as 1st grade. But who knows... Thanks for your comment!!!! <3

Its probably to hide the origin of the whistle. Non-white and black whistle delvers probably only know the whistle as simply 2nd grade relic you can get at 5th layer.

It's been nearly 7 years since I discovered The Abyss... and my obsession hasn't waned in the slightest. It's truly something special, and to me it's one of those things that you only discover a handful of time in your life that leaves a lasting impact on you. I still spend a lot of time listening to the soundtrack and thinking about The Abyss, and true to nature it's both a blessing and a curse because I just can't get it off my mind sometimes.

A lot if things in everyday life just seems absurd to me. Sometimes everything just seems so tiresome. Sometimes I feel like I wasn't supposed to exist at all. The only way for me to function in here is through bonds with other people. Because only happiness of those around me gives me real strength.
