    Hi can you run the water straight from the river??

  • @SteBren181
    @SteBren18110 ай бұрын

    Yes you could, but it would depend on the incoming water temp as to how fast you could set your flow. Fast flow = less time spent in the gas heat exchanger, so lower outlet temp. We are usually desert camping with limited water so generally we recycle the shower water and don’t pump straight from a river etc.

    Thanks mate.Will look into it.Always hard to get the right angle with normal shower head.Did you just screw a hose fitting into it?

  • @SteBren181
    @SteBren1812 жыл бұрын

    @@bumhull71 Yep, it’s just a plastic hose fitting to suit whatever the shower head thread was.

    What is the pump you are using?

  • @SteBren181
    @SteBren1812 жыл бұрын

    The pump is a shurflo 11.4lpm, you’d get away with a 6lpm pump, but I had this in the shed anyway.

    Hi again my darling. Back from my road trip and it was quite an adventurous and scenic one. When we left town the first hour of the trip was sunny and then a drastic weather and scenery change to rain, grey skies and misty mountain range. It was absolutely beautiful. Drove through some road areas similiar to the scene in this clip and in the same area featured in this clip. Thoroughly enjoyed the trip and got paid to do it !! Guess what ? Have to repeat the trip again on Sunday as we were meant to pick up another client to bring them back on the return trip but the extra travel we would have done was cancelled due to the wet weather and slippery muddy road. I had forgotten how parts of my own home state is actually quite beautiful and scenic. I'll post more clips of the areas I went through or near...( L❤VE Y❤U ) wish you could have been with me on this trip...( T ). 😘❤ The road wasn't as badly and heavily flooded as in this clip but it was still pretty much getting there....

    Curious as ..How does the vehicle weight change the HP at the rear wheels on a stationary test. Traction would be increased but thinking the pajero is far from bagging up on a dyno.

  • @SteBren181
    @SteBren1816 жыл бұрын

    I just assumed a vehicle that was heavy wouldn't show the same figures as if it was lighter on the dyno. It might be a stationary test, but the rollers need to be spun up and I guessed it would take more effort to spin them up with extra weight on them. Happy to be corrected, as it was an assumption on my part.

  • @4737matt

    I'm hearing ya and would have to agree that same tyre pressures with extra weight would increase resistance with more contact area. By how much is out of my abilities.

    I've just finished a 6 week, 14,900km solo vehicle adventure, didn't do a lot of video though. Got home last week from a Perth-Anne Beadell-Lake Eyre-Madigan Line-Fraser Island-Alice Springs and West macdonnel ranges, then home via the Great central. Still have the back to work blues :(
