Thanks, Ian, great news. With Google's 3, I can only record at H.264, when using 4K/60, 16:9, D-Log M. How can I set recording at H.265?

Hi, thanks a nice explaining video! What if You as the target start to move, while making a quickshot. Does the drone follow You or does it lose the target? Same question, if You are the point ocf interest, if You star to move Yourelf, will the drone follow You? It could make some interesting results in that case, or?
It tracks you as the subject so if you move then it will move as well. It can fail if you drive a car as the car may go faster than its tracking system can cope with but generally, walking will work fine
I know I have a mavic pro and cant be aloud to fly anywhere ,have to go miles away .what is the point ,293 grams can do and not over
Hi . Great video as usual. Quick question: Can I use avata 2 goggles 3 with Dji controller 2 ? I just bought controller 2 and now not sure if it will be compatible . Many thanks

As mentioned in first video, it's Amazon UK, EU and USA only. Unsure why DJI have restricted this.

Thanks Ian. As the drone is over 250grams, do you require A2 CofC and a spotter? I'm flying the Mini 4 pro at the moment and I'm unsure if I'd need to do additional training for the Avatar. Thanks in advance.
You only need the A2 C of C if you want to fly in congested areas like town parks etc, which I don't think the Avata is suitable for... And yes, even though you tend to fly at 1 - 3 metres high, the rules state you need a spotter...

NIce one Ian, thank you. I got my Avata 2 a couple of days ago. Its a doddle to use and great fun, even my 8 year old has mastered it.
It’s great that the Avata 2 nows works with the older goggles, remote and motion controller, but I cannot stress enough how much better the new motion controller and Goggles 3 are, in every way. Very happy I upgraded, worth every cent. Quality, comfort, ease of operation, and a really nice bag to boot. Thanks Ian, will attempt the upgrade in a day or 2, as it seems most people are unable to upgrade at this time.
Can you use the original Avata with the Goggles 3 and motion controller 3.
Perhaps there was a mis-communication about the official firmware release date. DJI won't acknowledge its existence and checking for updates says no update available. Using DJI Assistant 2 for consumer drones, connecting Avata2 and Goggles3 says no updates. When I contacted DJI support, they said there is no update and trust them not KZread, lol UPDATE: Found a bug where the DJI assistant 2 doesn't show there is any updates. But if you use DJI fly app (update app), then it shows updates for AV2 and Goggles3.
Was about to respond that if it doesn't show, then try the Fly App connected via a phone. As usual, their left hand doesn't know what their right hand is doing..... :(
Update is useless because you cannot use the Goggles 3 with the Motion 2 or DJI FPV 2 unless you use them with the Integra Goggles or Goggles 2. Takes the Goggles 3 out the picture except with the MC 3 and FPV 3 controllers. Let the Goggles 3 work with the OC 3 (DJI FPV 2) - Better Goggles in the 3 and they will sell more th FPV OC3 Builders! Bad Form DJI...

Hi Ian, did you get sent a pre release version of the new release, I have downloaded the latest version of DJI assistan2 for consumer drones but no updateds appear for either my goggles2, love stick 2 or controller.
Try connecting to your Fly App via your phone and check for updates. It is there.....

Ian, do you need to be connected to the Internet for the controller to successfully switch between the 2 drones?
No, it's embedded in the RC. but you do need to hit Connecton Guide and swipe left or right to select the different model.

Clear advice thank you. After watching your video on Drone Scene this would somewhat contradict. For example I put that I intended to fly mavic pro 2 in a recreational area I.e beach flying further than 50 meters away however stated that I could not fly and would need the a2 cofc. What would your advice be?
Just to clear up your video on Drone scene was great just that drone scene seems to not taken into consideration crowds when you tick that you intend to fly in recreational area if this makes sense?

DJI are a great company, seem super nice & I hate global politics tries to force us against countries.. why cant everyone just stay in their own country & work & provide for themselves, enjoy life. Visit other countries. be greatfull & respectful.. I bet if went to China the people would not dislike me or treat me bad. The government would not be out to get me for no reason I dont think so.. even with global politics I would hope, as long as im minding my own business & not working for a foreign gov.. I would like to visit Russia too, I am for peace & feel bad for everyone around that region in all the conflicts going on.. Peace & great ride off to the sunset, good news is I guess DJI has some of the best quality customer support available.

Why does my menu only show “Active Shots” and not “Active Track”? I see Active Shots, Spotlight, and POI…but nowhere do I get the straightforward Active Track.

Other than the stereo lens VR box head sets (which require a 3rd party app) this is the only single lens offering out there that displays DJI Fly. Believe me I've looked!

nice vid hi today i use my DJI air3 first time,i m totally beginner so i was forget that drone battery was very low..after 5 mins my RC2 controller gave warning beep or drone was nearly out of cintrol..thanks God they were landed at my place my question is that "HOW SET OPTION IN MY RC2 THAT MY DRONE LAND AT MY PLACE BEFORE 10 MINUTES OF BATTERY END AUTOMATICALLY" pls guide
Those example questions, I have an issue already : / Q. Following the 1:1 rule - If you are flying a C2 certified aircraft in low-speed mode and you need to fly at 15m height to get the perspective you need for a shot, how far do you need to be laterally separated from uninvolved people? A) 30m or more B) 15m or more C) 50m or more D) 5m or more Answer 1 : B ... Following the 1:1 rule, you need to be 15m or more away. (although, the 50m rule also applies) Answer 2 : C ... Even when following the 1:1 rule, you must maintain a 50m minimum lateral separation The problem is that : - BOTH answers are correct, when properly qualified and - NEITHER answer is unambiguously correct without qualification. It seems unclear to me whether it's asking about the 1:1 rule specifically _(tell me about how the 1:1 rule acts)_ or the actual operating limitations of the scenario in real terms _(tell me about your actual obligation in the scenario)_ If I had to guess, I'd say they're looking for (C) 50m ... but they could say, "No, that's not the 1:1 rule, that's the 50m rule" This is why I HATE multi-choice testing. I'm autistic and very literal, so perhaps it's more obvious to neuro-typicals. On all M/C testing I always drop a percentage of the questions due to imprecise language, regardless of how familiar I am with the material. Thoughts?
