I feel like the contract between you and the seller should be noll and void with the outstanding issues. Information wasn't disclosed that should have been? How did this go through the system without anyone else at least advising you that this was going on with the property. I feel like this should be a law on this or something.

I did have to chuckle when you said something to the likes of now you have knowledge and it won’t happen again… certain things? For real, lessons learned. But others? Those shysters out there have 101 ways to lie and cheat and even we seasoned and experienced home/property/business buyers can get a slick one pulled on us. Kudos to you for openly sharing your mistakes I’m sure the viewers not happy with your complaining have learned a thing or two or three.
I disagree. It’s not you didn’t do your due diligence. The property was misrepresented. Is it title company or real estate company’s fault…probably not. But, in my opinion, it’s the seller’s fault for misrepresenting the property…hidden defects.

Issac, the whole issue is unfortunate. Unfortunately, you’re having to go through it. I totally get what you’re saying about not knowing to even check the code situation out. It’s always best to learn from others mistakes but sometimes we have to learn from our own. The uptick from subscriber land is that we get to learn from your mistake and I don’t know about the rest of us but I appreciate you posting your journey and being transparent about it. Does it SUCK? This is the first time I've seen your show channel in a long time. This is serious - please take care of the situation as soon as possible. Please stop trying to figure it out because when a person is ill. they will do things that are difficult t understand. Your job is to keep you and your loved ones safe, not to figure out what's going on with a person who's having difficulties with reasoning.

I find it absolutely INSANE that you have to get a permit to demolish any structure on your property. It is YOUR property, the government has NO BUSINESS having their nose in it. I really need to move out of Oregon. The values here no longer align with mine, but I really like the weather here. RATS. California has BEAUTIFUL weather & is easy to grow things, but their government is INSANE, I would not live there PERIOD (that and I couldn't afford it).
