When I heard to just let the anger,hurt, and fear go away by this master, I felt that master telling me to just be happy. At the end when the speaker said that the guru master is coming back sounded to me like what is told in the New Testament of the Bible. Could Tibet be were Jesus went to those years that we have no knowledge of where he was? When they write about Jesus going up a mountain could this be the same mountain where the guru kept his secrets? No matter. I will just try and be happy and try to help people when I can.
I believe the ambiguity of the term "self"/"ourself"/"myself"/"ego"/"subconscious"/"conscious" and "unconscious" has brought A LOT of confusion in my and many people's mind over the time. So what should I drop? What should I attain? What is "good"? What is "bad"? Ego = the tool to survive in this material world with its limits Self = the subconscious (99% of the iceberg which is "underwater" and we cannot see but it the true root of our life experience) Collective subconscious (as Jung named it) = maybe something like Dharma? Or the Buddha-Nature? The Universe? At the end of the day they are just concepts. But due to tradition and practice / practice goals are passed on via concepts it is important to clarify them.
Sometimes we should take ourself less seriously. This is slaughtering the ego. We need to know who we are our self in order to live and survive. But when we start to think we are really somebody special better than others or more right or smart or whatever, we create duality and then that leads to differentiation and all kinds of judgements and all that. So when we are just able to think we are no different than everyone else and laugh it off, then we begin to be a bit more open and things happen randomly and spontaneously in a positive sense. Remember, the Guru is just cool. Not uptight about himself. So be cool and live in the ever present moment. There is no good and no bad. Just it. So just be.
@@ShambhalaStudioFilms.... but at the same time there is obviously good and bad.... And there are obviously differences between people. So we have like light this mysterious property of either a unique isolated entity or just life and everything is just energy interacting. Split and union. Strange.
I suggest leaving the whole “quantum” business out of this. If you can not elaborate what you mean then any quantum reference is misleading, I agree the Lak Tong(vipasana) insight meditation entails the act of looking and observing, which can coincide with scientific methods, I would love it when one day there’s a scientific language that can interpret Buddhist experience but until then it is unnecessary to involve science so more people are interested in Buddhism. I think it’s more of a wishful thinking than verified by any scientist. Watch Alan Wallace, he loves to have conversation with scientists quite often he gets a mouthful from the scientists, I think it’s definitely possible if someone has truly mastered in both fields then I’d like to see what this person say about the meditation experience and his mastery in scientific research.
Yes, Buddhism explains science better than scientists. So science cannot really explain Buddhism. Science is too busy catching up.
