Thank you Debbie for a great tutorial❤
Lovely bag Debbie, thank you. Loving your tutorials 👍
My mom bought one kislux and she loves it. It had been there for over 10 years when she went out with it.
This is a wonderfully explained tutorial, thank you. However, I have a question - I want to use a patterned fabric using the same fabric back and front instead of using the lining fabric on the back, as the blind will be going into a conservatory and both sides will be seen. How do I do that? Do I follow the same instructions as if I was using lining fabric, or do I need to do it differently? Help!
Thank you for the wonderful tutorial❤. I sewed the bag with canvas fabric . Going to sew more ..😊
I learn soooo much from you :)thank you!!
Morning Debbie - Jo 🇬🇧
If you blow it with a hair dryer the turning becomes easier :-).
I am from the Maldives. I discovered your wonderful tutorials only today, bcs I hv been trying to sew a sewing machine cover and a mat. I have learned much from your precise instructions. Will definetely try both. Thank you so much .
Hi, why is the lining measurement larger than the main fabric in your instructions please?
Best demo I’ve seen, so clear and no fuss.
Thank you Debbie. I’ve just bought the book and will give this tote a try first. 😊

I keep seeing a flash of something to your right, above the two bags, just realised it's the top of the stand catching your reflection as you move.

I’m so happy to see this method come back. I used to make tops and dresses this way for my daughter from ages 2 to 5. She is now 48. Now I want to try making a dress like this for myself. You (or a child) can wear it as a dress, top, or as a pinafore with a blouse or t-shirt underneath. For small children, half a yard or meter of lightweight cotton selvage-to selvage makes a nice top or dress (depending on the child’s height). You can make it as a dress when the child is 2 or 3 and then she can wear it as a top with trousers or shorts when she is 4. I used to just sew as many rows of shirring as needed to gather up the fabric to fit around her nicely. And I found that the number of rows needed would vary according to how thick or thin the cotton was, or how tightly woven it was.. You can sew with two selvage-to-selvage pieces sewn together to create two side seams. For myself I’m going to try 1-1/2 times my bust or hip measurement then do the rows of shirring.
What are the measurements please. Thank you 😊
I love Debbie Shore tutorials she is so clear and easy to listen to and follow...thank you wonderful team at Debbie Shore !!
Thank you. Like the way you take us thru the project step by step. Am from India. Could you please tell me the name of the fabric glue and is it available in A.azon?
That is so pretty! I will have to try that one day. I love your tutorials. I’m currently using one of your tutorials to make a recessed zipper bag. You explain everything so clearly and I can easily see what you are doing. Thank you so much for doing these tutorials. I will be 63 next month and have recently started sewing again, after barely doing any sewing for years. Watching ,subscribed and learning from Prestonsburg,Kentucky.
