DeWalt in the tool industry the equivalent to apple products in electronics. They just don't make any sense, yet have a huge fan base. I don't get it, I don't use either product.

Id like to see a more adaptable shelf and mounting system that would be versatile enough to fit a variety of vans, I use a NV200 Nissan, but one I could basically custom fit to mount to my floor, van sides or inner walls etc so my pack out cases stay put and I dont need 50 bungee cords. Perhaps go on line and I could order a configuration to fit my specific van as others could and offer 2-3 different arrays that include the floor mount plates, holders for the van wall mounts, etc. In fact, want to test it out, id be glad to be a test case, and yeah, id pay for the material.

I have always wanted a snow blower. I live in Colorado Springs and we just dont get much snow, and when we do it warms up immediatly and melts it the next day. Just cant justify the space in the garage. I want one even more now that I can use an electric one with no issues as I have a normal sized residential 2 garage and driveway. I was thinking about the snow thrower but not sure that looks any easier than shoveling.

I feel ya. We live in Columbus, OH, where we get 2-3 storms a winter any more, and they never give us more than 3in of snow. We have tons of Snowblowers because we test them, and they're amazing when you have a driveway like ours.

I asked Milwaukee for a coil nailer 3 years ago and they said they were working on one I've had a DeWalt one since then and I'm a commercial roofer and we use it to nail our metal edge on and sometimes we're doing a thousand feet that!! DeWalt nailer does the work of three guys hand nailing, four guys maybe. They don't realize the market they're losing out on...

I am a huge dealt user on pretty much all tools and Milwaukee nail guns, which I love. As for the nail guns, I bought Dewalt and Milwaukee framing nails to do a test. I did return the Dewalt. It was mot my normal platform, but Milwaukee won out. At least for me. Oh, I also bout the Milwaukee steel cold cut. circular saw, which is a beast. Love your show, and watch all the time. Cheers

Flexvolt Advantage are actually tools that can take advantage of using a 60V battery even though they're not running at 60V. Power Detect tools are just slightly tweaked XR tools to satisfy Lowes being big whiny babies about wanting a unique branding that Home Depot, Ace, and others don't carry.

I gotta say, FastCap makes the best tape measures. I love the little things like the nice belt clip, the pencil sharpener built in and the little writing pad on the side. The tape itself has 1/16" markings which help, and they have the metric and standard tape which I use way more often than I thought I would. I still love my DeWalt tough series tape measure (the retraction is so smooth and the magnet is excellent) but as far as usefulness goes? I find myself reaching for that FastCap tape measure more than my DeWalt. I feel like I have to love my DeWalt tape measure because it was $35 and the FastCap I just like because it's a simple, cheap and feature-rich tape measure.

I think the name is alright as long as it is clear in the outside packaging that the inside tecnology is different from what we are used to with the now common cilidrical cells. And that we can also see on the label what the cell chemistry is as companies flobally are increasingly experimentimg with cell chemistries which deliver different performance and charging characteristics. What I do find increasingly worrying with current tool brand is that they're making monofunctional tool batteries. With this I mean that for example that performance connectors are different from charging connectors, which means the batteries always needs a seperate dedicated charger from the tool. It would be nice of this was streamlined more to universal connectors in today's day and age. I think a lack of universal connectors on tool batteries, tools and chargers is obsolete and is not part of today's mindset. I am getting an increased sense the future is batteries and having a battery powerstation with multiple tool batteries is not becoming a more common occurence to charge and discharge the batteries from the power station. There are power generator tools from the tool battery makers, bit they don't all provide a more common experience. And I'm missing that all tool.batteries din't support a two way usb charger as standard built in to.the tool batteries. The tool batteries are also great charging devices. Yes, it may degrade the battery sooner in time, but I notice I use the tool batteries only on occasion and storing them for a while for later use also degrades the battery over time. I think those extra moments of using a battery as a battery bank fir charging isn't a too bad idea. And I think it is convenient to have a two way usb c pd charger built in for those occasions you forget to take a bulky tool charger with you, but still have a usb c cable laying around for charging your battery in the go im emergency's. It may take a bit longer to cahrge, bit it is better than having no option at all.

I'm selling off most off my dewalt tools, they have time for these marketing bs but not for revamping still brushed tools, flexvolt batteries tend to die for controller error and (at least in Germany) they won't repair them after warranty, the 3x360° 18V laser don't fits bigger batteries (there is a little nose on the batterie that hits), there are tools that only available in 12V, which 12V makes no sense at all since the 1,7a powerstack batterie is similar in size, nothing is compatible with the almost identical Stanley brand, the batterie status is, even on the newest batteries grab (full 3 bars, empty 1, you get almost no information from that), flexvolt batteries overheat long befor they are empty and so on...

No kickback. Just trying to cover their new tools like all the other brands. We featured that impact wrench because they just featured it in their "new tool" series. We know it's been out for a bit, but we figured our viewers would still benefit from seeing what they're doing.
