We usally make a insertion along the log to fill with line. We insulate after a year re stacking the logs and fill the insulation before placing the logs

You suck for killing trees to make these shetty videos of these stupid cabins none will ever use. Just another pile of kindling for future forest fires.

This is false but based on truth. You dont want any air movement whatsoever. Leaving giant cracks between your logs will allow more air movement and heat transfer no matter how loose or densely packed your insulation is.

You should know, because your the one doing it. I would defer to your insight. However a mobile dimension saw would be easier and more efficient. Stay sharp my friend ❤

Use a 10 degree skip tooth chain. With a mill you will get even cuts every time. Also a bigger saw would work better

  • @goodolarchie

  • @spencerstockwell

Ripping chains with half the number of cutting teeth is a prerequisite to get an Alaskan mill to work faster.

Why aren't you using a proper low tooth count chain if you've been overloading?
