Can’t wait to see how the new trailer is transformed! 🤩 I love the second life you’re giving so many different items.

The voters were brutal with the pig trailer. At least no-one can say it looks boring

I’m wondering how you’ll vent the refrigerated truck. Will normal window and doors be enough to allow air circulation? I would be worried about black mold creeping in during the rainy months…. But then again a wood stove is a great dehumidifier - Not sure how you’ve assembled the most livable group of people on the planet but there it is! You’re ALL adorable!

I'm wondering if using these old trucks is actually more work than building the frames just from scratch with Wood ?!

This household has been watching you sence you made your first (ish?) vid with your bike in a maridian. All we can say is, its a dream. Until we can live ours, a tiny bit of help for yours! That magnificent little baby peach tree! Increase your harvest, use some banana peel in the ground for it to eat, and plant some mint, or searmint around its base, you get the spice, and the ants hate it, wont go anywhere near it as the sap from the mint messes with the eggs and kills them. so, its a natural barrier for ants. Also, mosquitoes don't like it much either. *hugs* please never stop doing what you are doing, and stay beautiful!

You must get the lake water moving the bacteria that grows will cause major issues aswell as mosquitoes will take over the area.

Someone will surely have suggested this, but could you use the Wattle trees as a feedstock for a small Biochar plant? You would remove the problem of biomass and fire risk, whilst generating income from selling the Biochar and (possibly) carbon credits (not from EU, so not 100% sure on that last one).

Ahhh I really thought you were going to use the dead animal hooks in the refrigerated trailer to do some sort of hanging sleeping solution, like hammock style but more permanent, with living space underneath, and the beds could pull up when not in use on a pulley system.......maybe next time :D Amazing update guys!

You could pull out mechanics and make the cooling unit into a swamp cooler. Is it humid in the summer there? Swamp coolers work best in drier summers.

It's as if these guys have never looked into communities that came before them. I get it, it's fun to imagine you're inventing everything from scratch. But all this has been done before. The new piece is the idea of "documenting" everything. But again, I think this has been done on the community level (take a look at trust-building books and conflict resolution processes, there must be thousands of titles). What's really and truly missing from Project Kamp is the purpose. You hint at it here without really getting specific. Rita and Dave are circling around the topic. It will come with time. In the mean time, the family is an age-old tried-and-true unit and works exceptionally well. What we can all use is more information about how to do more with less, and how to consume less. Saving/conserving fresh water, for example, will be a key feature of the future of our planet. How can we live without consuming plastics, or without adding CO2 to the atmosphere? We're all here for that. Sustainability is a powerful way to live. Keep going. I cannot wait for you all to crack open the purpose and meaning behind Project Kamp.

I really wish you would explore Earthship Biotecture, there is a whole community near Taos, New Mexico. They can be completely built from reclaimed and recycled materials and are self-sufficient and self-sustaining. They are very suitable for year-round habitation due to the way they use thermal mass and the earth itself to regulate temperature I think you would find them to be very appropriate for your project and be much happier in the long term. The trailers are great, but they never will be a long-term solution. @earthship has its own KZread channel, please check it out. www.youtube.com/@earthship

Please pardon my ignorance, I have no idea what mimosa trees are used for except for what seems like firewood or building on your pathways. Could you possibly use them in other ways. Why were they planted in the first place.
