best cleaning video 👍
What is better? metal crown that holds ball bearings or that white rubber thing inside a bearing
this is so useful!! i was trying to figure out what size bearing spacers to get for my quad skates and i didn’t really understand what the difference in size meant. i’m still not quite sure because there isn’t a lot of info that i can find right now, but this has helped a lot.
Awesome so much easier than I thought this was gonna be with your video!
I love this video! Reminds me of vids from early 2000's :D Also very informative even today.
Okay, so which bearing SHOULD I get for my quad skates ? I dance AND skate really fast too. I skate the skatepark bowls too. IF money is not a concern, which bearings should I get for speed and longevity?
Just ride the dang thing. Don’t over think, buy what you think is right for you. It’s not gonna make a difference with those measurements if its off by a milimetre, if you skate well and it makes you happy you don’t need that scientific halla ballu.
Great vid!
I can't stop rewatching all these videos over the years
CAP!! bearings are better without the grease. Take your bearings out of your wheels remove the shields and leave them in a cup of Windex for a couple hours. Shake the bottle up to help get the grease off. Leave the shields off of your bearings, the dirt will go through one end and out the other, you’ll never have dirty bearings and the grease is unnecessary because it only helps if you’re going a certain speed and even pro skaters never go fast enough to require bearing grease
Thanks man. This technique just helped me rite now. Peace ✌️
I found independent abec 7s in high school and they would out preform 80% of bearings when it came to consistency, speed and durability. I will still die on this hill but I have not used them recently as I have been trying to expand my horizons but I still have a usable set from around 2015. Thank you guys for this video though I am definitely going to try Oust.
Somebody call Roger 😅

Heard this guy got his time machine fixed and returned to the 90's to change the world for the better with his knowledge of future events. We miss you, king.
thanks for the informations and video!
I purchased some Yellow Jacket. Bearings and those are really good hybrids. Titanium and ceramic, they skate fast

all i do is wax my pivot cups and i’m good to go
John Conner "are you here to kill me" Terminator "no , you must skate"
Why I dont buy cheap shit but atleast mid great at best. This is also why Ben Degros says he doesn't recommend spacers unless by the same brands.
Its wierd alot of people say dont use acetone and I prob never would but ive seen Bones rider themselves use it so very misleading.
So does that mean you should lube your Bronson Raws. Those go for days but honestly fastest bearings ive tried so far are still Bones but also used them the most so hard to judge. Im wondering cus I know Jamie FOy has a hack where he takes G3 and cleans with windex to remove the oils to make them like budget Raws.
Wait does this work with roller skates bushings???
Soo i kinda started a bearing business. Almost started. And i wanted to do swiss bones parts like theyre retainers to hold the balls in my bearings. When i ordered like 6 cages /retainers. They came in 2 months witch is ridiculous i live in a city. And they say made in china on the fucking bag. Soo bones swiss is made in china 100 percent. I ordered from theyre legit website 60 besring cages and they came from china. Soo just saying everythings made in china at this point. Except my bearings. Theyre ordered from china sanded down shined up. Cleaned. And swapped cages here in Canada soo ... Just saying im pretty legit lol. But theres no way to not order anything from china at this point with everything. Like for example you can order blanks for starting your decks out without you own press but the paint / silk screen set you get will be from china. Theres no way to avoid it at this point
Indy 159s are loud as fuck
The rib inside the wheel and the spacer have been a standardized size since 1976....any deviation from this is just low quality....and low quality and design are even more common now than then 😂...the gimmick factor is so high in skateboarding now it's fairly comical
Torque!
A little confused. Another video said use alcohol and cream, which will last longer. Oil won't last as long. 🛼
Very eye opening for my future choices in bearings! Always thought more expensive means better.. thank you for the great detail!!
Great stuff. I still have Fafnir speed bearings in my speed skates. They were best in the day. Great video.THX.
The best griptape video I’ve ever seen!!! 💯🔥
i need one of thosee really baddddd😢😢😢😢 there's no tool like that in our country
Bruhh where can i get orange oil contain natural citrus solvent and d-limonene and terpene i cant find it no where. I skate in the rain and my bearing are done i guess ill just buy some new ones
This is just an ad for oust bearings
I was told many years ago that the difference between a Swiss bearing and a regular bearing was that a swiss bearing had a “triangular” v-channel that the bearings rolled in as opposed to a square channel. Since a ball in a square channel has 4 points of contact and a ball in a triangle only has three points of contact--The Swiss bearing has one less point of friction on the ball. I’ve never seen the engineering or insides of a Swiss bearing to know if this is true or not, but this was the way that it was explained to me at the time. A you please show the insides of the bearings with the side covers off? Is there a way to view the different raceways that the balls travel in please?
"One tub of wood filler and 750 sheets P60 sand paper please."
Really appreciate
A lot of the top skaters just use bones reds. Maybe they only skate them for a week. But claiming pros only skate the best is just wrong. They get free product or sponsored. Some just arent fussy
Japanese or Swedish skf bearings
