It might be cheap for foreigners but unfortunately for bulgarians it is not cheap at all. If you look at a beer costing 2-3 leva which is basically 1-2 euro keep in mind that average european salary in the west is around 2-3k euro which is 4-5k leva, average bulgarian salary is 1500-2000 leva which is 750-1000 Euro.
