Foods looks yummy😊😊
Since the country hasn’t been raped by its neighbours it presumably doesn’t have the curse of oil or other mineral resources. So what has sustained the economy in the past? Presumably tourism is a major income now.

They sell power to India, which funded most of the hydro projects. Because they are a buffer between India and China human rights issues are historically glossed over for regional security and national branding reasons. Since you mention rape, you could look into what what Red Cross and Amnesty International documented about Bhutan in the early 1990s. While there are multiple sides to every story, there is more to Bhutan than the tourism royalty would have you believe.

The Thumbnail is depicting wrong information. If you don't know the truth, then you should not disseminate wrong information also.

It is carbon neutral. I think you don't understand the meaning of carbon neutral. It is the state where emissions of carbon dioxide due to human activities and removals of these gases are in balance over a given period. It is often called simply net zero. production = removal.
I am from Bhutan and man having multiple wives is true in some region but only with sibling sisters if they agree. And it’s not compulsory.

Poor but happy.
Nice to learn about Bhutanese culture except for the stupid climate preaching crap.
Its okay I guess. I only spent a weekend there. My opinion of it was probably higher than it should have been purely because I'd just come from the disgusting hellscape that is Ind*a. At least people in Bhutan weren't living in their own filth as far as I could see. Which is a massive step up considering the kind of neighboring countries it has. EDIT: Don't reply to me and then block so I cannot respond, jeet. Rat-like behaviour
