  Don't know much about UK Special Forces, but the name alone makes me think you should've got US Seal Teams or some other specialized group. Marines is a branch of our military.

  Marines are just one of the 5 branches, not a special force in and of themselves like the SAS. Idk the marine equivalent, but that’d be akin to a group of navy seals vs just any standard British soldier

  While I am european and would gladly say that a european power is stronger… those marines held back. Do some research it is common knowledge in any military that has ever fought alongside the us, that the us doesnt spend all thag money for nothing. They dont fuck around. In a direct battle just two teams the us against the uk the us would most likely win like 8 out of 10 times…

  Not true, just go back to the best test of this, the actual events, not just what you think, theorise or believe, because this has happened. 2021, a California exercise, in the Mojave desert, where the Brits genuinely forced the American side to surrender days into a training exercise at an enormous battleground facility in the California desert. Before that happened, the US Marine Corps had even asked for a "reset" after the Royal Marine detachment swiftly begun dominating the battle, running raids behind the lines. A one off? I wouldn’t think so, here’s why; Same year, 2021, another exercise, a little different this time, as it was an urban combat exercise, and seen just 100 Royal Marine Commandos go up against 1500 US Marines, even crazier, the US Marines were on the defensive and bunkered and entrenched in, they had every strategic advantage in the book. This war games drill, of course, ended in a Royal Marines victory. Officials of the USMC released statements afterwards saying they’d “revise their tactics”. The Americans have great troops, but when it comes to quality, competing with the Brits is a difficult thing to do. It makes sense though, the American doctrine is largely focused on mass and quantity, the Brits however have no other choice than to just cash in on quality entirely.
