Hi I am considering purchasing a polar monkeys cyber plunge with the commercial option they are claiming that their set up is the cleanest for commercial use I’m concerned about the heat on the outside of the cyber plunge it will be in a room with an open float tank and a infrared sauna . Which unit would you purchase for your business if you were looking for a reliable enjoyable experience for your business

Hey man great video. One question I have and that is are you able to keep the ice mode on 24-7 or does SunHome recommend the ice making function should only be turned on for a set time per day?

Dave you’ve been amazing and so helpful with really breaking everything down to a simple level of understanding and you do such a great job of answering so many questions in your videos! You’ve given me so many ideas for the future of my health and family’s health. I always refere to your videos first when looking for information. I’m currently torn between I’ve barrel 500 with your chiller diy and the desert plunge...any perspective you could give would be so helpful in helping me decide. Another question I have is in regards to changing the temp and the expected time to meet the temp. Like if I’m going to have it set at 55 F for a first timer and then want to change it to, say…40 F. What would be the expect time to cool the water down? I live in PHX, AZ. So it gets hot. Any advice or info would be much appreciated!

fyi that plastic film coming off of your metal warning plates inside your saina are meant to be removed anyway. they're just covering and protecting the metal in shipping and construction as seen on many metal plates used in products of various types. you can peel it off anytime. thanks again for all your great tips on cold plunging and saunas. halogen patio heater running great in our infrared sauna you're the man!

I just setup my ice barrel 300 with an active aqua 1/4 hp chiller and it runs pretty much all day to maintain water at 44. I’m in Utah, been consistently in the high 90s but have my tub outside in the shade(covered patio). I’m thinking the chiller is just too weak and possibly need to upgrade to a 1/2 or 1 hp model. Thoughts?

I live in MN and was leaving toward having the ice plunge on my deck. I plan on buying the heat add-on for the winter months. Are there any concerns with the chillers being outside all year round on the different seasons?

Thank you for the honest review! I'm 6'4", so length of the plunge is a concern of mine. I am comparing the plunge all-in and the older plunge model, plunge XL, and I noticed the older model is about 5 inches longer. Do you think either models would work for me, or do you think the additional length with the plunge XL will be necessary for my height? Also, is there a barrel plunge that might fit my height better? Thank you!

David, have you begun to cold plunge in the low thirties regularly, or are you still hovering in the mid forties? I followed you to the mid forties, but can't imagine going to the low thirties! 🥶 ❄️

I would imagine this black barrel would absorb ALOT of the sun's energy/heat. Black surfaces tend to get hotter than white surfaces. It's a strange choice for a cold plunge. I would be curious to learn what your annual energy draw is with this setup, and it being in the sun.

Any idea how quickly the 1/4 hp chiller should cool? I’m in AZ and the water from my outside line started at 95 degrees(crazy…I know). It took 2 hours to drop to 88 degrees. (That’s with the boost on.) I’m not too sure if it’s working properly. (Ice Barrel 500, Active Aqua 1/4 hp, Danner pump, garage air temp 75) BTW… love your KZread channel! 🤟

Hey man love your content and rarely do i post comments... However i wanted to correct you on one thing. There is NO Android app, only apple ios. The real reason i am posting is in hopes that you will reach out to plunge and communicate with the higher ups what a major FAIL this is. Their website has a post from 1 YEAR ago stating they are working on the android app and it will be coming out soon, yet 1 year later and nothing. They are a great company and make fantastic products, yet they are clearly neglecting and literally failing 50% of their customer base that has android products. They advertise their products as capable of being "controlled by your smart phone" yet that is complete BS, they are capable of being controlled by Apple products only. They have had ample opportunity to release the android app and many people have been extremely patient and yet they simply have not been dedicated or given the appropriate resources to delivering an Android app as promised. Roughly half of their customers have a "smart" product that can't be controlled remotely at all. They are FAILING and they should really be taking it more seriously, assign proper resources and urgency and get it released. You speak on our behalf, please let them know what a huge mistake this is!!! We need your support to help put the pressure on them to get it done!!

The Sun Home!!! I don’t understand why people keep their cold plunges in the 50s. The colder the water is, the more ice, the better the effect. At least in my opinion.
