good idea about measuring your own individual torso length. My wife (5'7"), and I (6'3") have the same length leg to pelvis measurement. She's got long legs for her frame, and I, a really long torso for my frame. I have a 30" bottom to top of lip inflatable cold plunge and I have to scootch down and slump and cross my legs to get my jawline to the water. Thanks for thinking of us variably sized folks!

Thanks for sharing! I had an email from someone claiming I lied about my height. Saying they were 6’1” and couldn’t fit in the ice barrel 500 like me. Turns out I just have a shorter torso and long legs too for my height and build.

Could you easily add your own DIY chiller setup similar to your one with Ice Barrel 500? I’m trying to decide between an inflatable tub like this or the Ice Barrel 500 with a DIY setup. I was looking at Modtub and Desert Plunge, but reliability is a concern. Thanks for the great video!

I’m in the same boat, trying to decide between these. Also, this is going on my garage and don’t want water getting everywhere either. Can you fill up the tub with less water in the plunge air and still get fully submerged? Seems like when you get in the 500 the water goes right to the top and sometimes goes over.

What’s the blue wall with the white line you have there? Is it a rebounding wall

It’s an inflatable tumble track we use for cheer practice just flipped up. It works for that too!

David, does the plunge sweat since it doesn’t have insulation? Also, would I be able to hook up my own all in one chiller to the plunge or can only the cold plunge chiller be used on this particular plunge?

I appreciate the measurements you provided. I need to know the footprint measurements as I wish to place it in my walk-in shower. The cover will fit my stall easily but the floor of my shower has multiple levels. Thanks.

Would you buy the plunge air with new chiller or the original plunge with pro chiller? With the original plunge on clearance they're the same price. Hey buddy, have you found a way to use DIY parts to get it hooked up to a chiller? I went to Home Depot 4 times to find connections without any luck The threading seems like its between 1" and 1.25". Wondering if you found a solution besides the lines Plunge sells.

I was looking at the ice up industries tub and chiller. Is the plunge worth the extra $2000?

Yep! Single thick layer no insulation though.

Awesome video. Do you have 3 cold plunges in your backyard lol?

I bought the plunge air and my experience has not been good. The product isn't all that great. It has plenty issues. One of the big ones is that the tub and cover don't fit very well, leaving a gap on the side which is big enough for bugs and dirt to get in. The customer service has been quite bad.

Can you talk about the noise? How quiet is it? If I put it on an apartment balcony, would it be a nuisance? If I put inside, will it drive me crazy? Or does it just sound like a quiet fan?
