Thanks Brian. Good review. Although I don’t think it is like being at a live performance or having the artist in the room with you. I agree with most of what you said about them. AQ Red? Not a Cobalt? I guess it’s down to personal taste. I am home trialling these in UK at the moment and A/B testing against the Focal Bathys. Different beasts, the sound can be even more exciting on the Bathys and the soundstage is far wider IMO. 5909s on the other hand give a more consistent, refined and subtle sound stage in comparison. Also come down in price from £1000 to £750 here in the UK. Those French cans are really exciting, but I will be opting for the Mark Levinsons as these are the whole deal. LDAC for Android users, to me they feel smaller and lighter on the head and the ability to use them passively (Bathys doesn’t do any of those three things unfortunately).

If you look at the ends of the head band, you'll see they are tapered on one side. That's the side that faces backwards; let your thumbs to rest against each tapered side and slip the phones on.

nice review ! regarding the Sonos Radio, can you confirm if you are able to play the Sonos Radio directly on the headphones without the need to connect the radio to speaker(s) on the wifi network?

We see 8k and 4k split. Are they all 8k and able to do 4k as well.? maybe labeled like that to tell what they support? We got the lg c1 120hz. Online world said to use 8k connection to receiver full bandwidth. Why would they still offer 4k when 8 k connection does full bandwidth and backwards capable. The c1 came out years ago. 8k tv's exist.

Yes, you can use the optical input or output on the Juke+ to connect it with a surround sound receiver to make a cohesive system.

Do you have any opinion about hanging the sound bar above the TV? Would that create any inconvenience? The TV is standing on a TV unit and hanging the soundbar will mean it is going to be above the head while sitting. I really like the idea but not sure if it will impact the quality. Question: Does the CXN100 require a user to have an account with Spotify, for example, and access music thru a smartphone? Or, can Spotify be accessed directly using the smart magic app thereby obviating the need for an account. (The user manual seemed to say that the Spotify app was needed to FEED the audio files to C100. 😢 Why would anyone want to do that!?!?). Thank you in advance for your clarification.

The only Sonos speaker I have that I allow the touch buttons to work is the Move2. I have all the Sonos speakers and multiple of all of them pretty much. Except the Ray, which is too outdated to bother with. Unfortunately the cats can touch them too which is why the feature is turned off. lol.

I got the solar yellow - very cool looking!
6 weeks in with the 8.4 , replaced a 7.8 that died. So far it’s the worst piece of electronic equipment I’ve ever had. My advice to anyone buying this unit to make sure you can return it.😢
