  I can never speed run anything, I get too into all games I play. Seriously, it could be the most linear, one dimensional, schlock, then suddenly it would have an entire fleshed out universe, and an epic struggle for either supremacy, or survival... I should see a therapist.

  i also like to like explore way way too much in most games haha. i usually dont speedrun my first attempts of things because of that. you just gotta replay the game after theres nothing left to discover :)

  well with the legendary monocle and also a high enough EB to immediately max habs on every egg, i feel like this time could probably go down to like 13 minutes maybe :o i dont think sub 10 is possible, but maybe? you would have to average like 10 seconds faster per egg than i did on universe which would be wild for the whole run

  I read that you can't catch fish with a difficulty of 50 with the training rod. Which would include the ice pop and lava eel. I don't know maybe it was overlooked on the Switch. Anyways congrats! I don't even bother with them to I am at fishing level 8 or more. Preferably with a trap bobber.

  woahhh you’re right i didn’t even realize!! that’s so interesting :0 i also learned by looking it up apparrently the fish are guaranteed to be normal quality so i didn’t have to be all panicked hahaha the switch version differences are wild. i wonder if i can catch tiger trout with it :0 then i wouldn’t need quality bobbers… would probably be slower than what you gain by using bait though

  I'm preparing a preloaded with universal egg, I almost have full my habs and I'm saving the last upgrade to go for it on saturday I've noticed people prestige when the mystical eggs earning starts going slower - Why does it slow down? - Why not waiting the full 10 minutes before prestige? Even if they become less, they are still increasing :o

  it’s a bit complicated, but essentially the rate at which you get soul eggs slows down because each soul egg is a little bit more expensive than the last one. if you do a preload then you have a linear income, because your population is not growing. this means that the rate of soul eggs will go down as the price per soul egg goes up. as for why not wait? some people do wait. people who don’t wait are often doing multis. every time you prestige the base cost of a soul egg resets. so if you can rebuild all the way to universe very quickly then you can get more soul eggs per real life minute by resetting very frequently to reset the base cost of the soul egg. also, you get soul eggs when you prestige which increases your income, so every leg will result in more SE than the last as well

  @@sadnesslovesyou ohhh that explains a lot! I did 3 preloads yesterday just to find out the 3rd time only duplicated my total SE ammount, so I should probably wait until I have a lot more prophecy eggs/artifacts to even try again :p currently at 7q SE

  @@vookchrysaetos8003 at 7q i would say preloads are still good! youre starting to get towards being able to do a 2-stige at that point. but if you are getting a large percent of your total SE per preload (>10%) than preloads aren't a waste yet i dont think :)

  I recently started playing stardew for the first time and I find the fishing almost impossible do. I am playing on switch since that is that let me play in bed (chronic fatigue is so fun). Any advice would be really appreciated since otherwise my community center is never going to get finished.

  so there’s two main things you can do. first, there’s an option to not fish at all but it’s not fun and not guaranteed and you may have to play for years. this option is that i’m pretty sure all of the community center fish can be available to get at the traveling cart on fridays and sundays. that’s how i got almost all the fish i got in this play through im doing. also if you donate enough stuff to the museum then you can unlock krobus. krobus sells a fish every wednesday that might be useful in the community center

  then there’s the second option which is to make fishing as easy as possible. you can level up your fishing skill to level 10 without fishing at all just by using fish ponds and crab pots. but you can also level up your fishing skill by fishing up trash, which involves no mini game. once you’re level 10 most fish for the community center will be really easy to catch, but you can make it even easier by buying the iridium rod from willy and attaching a cork bobber to it, and then also eating a fish buff food. this makes your fishing bar massive and makes the game much easier

  I sucked badly at fishing at first. I got the training rod and just leveled up and got practice. Til your level 5. It's a tapping rhythm. When the fish hits the bottom make sure you tap before you bounce. Get some cork bobbers and/or trap bobbers as soon as you can and some food buffs for those really hard fish. I was really frustrated in the beginning but I learned to enjoy fishing. Hope that helps.

  I think the fish that you missed were either the harder super cucumber or octopus not the blobfish. And you should get some bait to catch that seaweed faster.

At least you didn't decide that you wanted a donut instead, you could be minus a hand right now.😂 Saying it's a miracle you're still alive, reminds me of my brother, statistically he should be super-dead, but as they say "If you're gonna be dumb, you gotta be tough".
