I got another world record!!! :)
psa, this is a horror game and does have scary elements in it especially towards the end of the game. if you get easily scared maybe this speedrun isn't for you, although i promise its pretty minimal and not that scary!
now that thats out of the way! darkwood is a really aesthetic game where you wake up in some woods and have to escape at all costs. its a thrilling experience that is completely circumvented by the speedrunning strategies you see today, which include glitching out of bounds and walking through a black screen. wonderful!

hey! glad you enjoyed it :) i will often quit a run and restart if i don’t think i did the best job with my words, and sometimes i end up saying the same explanation 100 times if the run is really difficult D:
This is amazing content. Great work explaining while moving. And that’s while “a little scuffed” LOL I just got back into dark wood and you popped up. Good vid

aw thank you! it was very scuffed!! but i’m pretty happy with how the video flow worked out :) i played it casually for like the last few months with one of my friends sporadically and this video was a really fun sign off to the game

Does the barrel clip exploit still work in patch 1.4?

I didnt know there was an update to the game until just now! did they add more content to the game?

the normal ending isnt as fun and the gameplay is identical until the end so probably not :/
